Email warmup, then cold email from the warmed mailboxes. LinkedIn is a paid add-on.
LinkedIn automation, with email follow-ups in the same sequence.
Main job, in one look.
Warmerly warms email mailboxes, checks their DNS, then sends cold email, and offers LinkedIn as a $19 a month add-on per connected account. Expandi is a LinkedIn automation tool: connection requests, messages, InMail, likes, follows and endorsements, with email follow-ups as one step type inside a LinkedIn sequence. If your outreach starts on LinkedIn, Expandi is built for that. If it starts in the inbox, Warmerly is. Last checked 19 October 2026.
LinkedIn automation, with email follow-ups in the same sequence.
Drawn side by side.
Two ways to start an outreach path
Choose where your first message goes. The steps you would use light up.
Starting from the inbox: Warmerly warms and checks the mailbox before any campaign step sends. Expandi's pages describe email only as a follow-up step inside a LinkedIn flow.

Warmerly, in detail.
Warmerly's main job is email: warm a mailbox over 30 days, keep its DNS and blocklist status checked, then send cold email sequences from it. LinkedIn is a paid add-on that plugs into the same sequences.
It starts with the mailbox
Warmup mail between real mailboxes ramps from 4 a day on day 0 to 50 a day on day 30, with lower ceilings for Gmail (40), Outlook (30) and Zoho (25). A mailbox only does campaign work on top of that ramp.

Then campaigns and sequences
A sequence is made of email steps, wait steps, LinkedIn connection and message steps, and condition steps that branch on opened, clicked, replied or timeout. A campaign sends at most 30 emails a day from a mailbox by default and runs pre-launch checks before it starts (13 kinds are listed in the code).

DNS and blocklists are watched
SPF, DKIM, DMARC and MX are checked every six hours for each mailbox, with a written fix when one fails. Sixteen blocklists are checked on the same schedule.

LinkedIn is an add-on, not the core
Each connected LinkedIn account is $19 a month, charged at once with no trial and no refund. Packs are 3 accounts for $49 and 5 for $75. It runs through a hosted provider (LinkupAPI), and a customer can connect an account because the production switch was on when we read it on 15 October 2026.

LinkedIn steps sit in the same sequence
A campaign can hold a LinkedIn connection step and a LinkedIn message step next to email steps, and there is a ready-made 'LinkedIn then email' template. A standard account is held to 10 invitations a day and 50 a week.

Where Warmerly is narrower on LinkedIn
Warmerly's LinkedIn sequence steps are a connection request and a message. We found no step that visits a profile, follows, endorses or sends an InMail, and no signal that adds people from profile or company visits. Its LinkedIn depends on one hosted provider.

Expandi, in detail.
Expandi describes itself as LinkedIn outreach software. Campaigns are built from LinkedIn actions, and email is one more action in the flow, sent from a mailbox you connect.
What it says it automates
Its FAQ lists connection requests, messages, InMail, skill endorsements, post likes and following profiles or company pages.

The builder holds actions and conditions
The help centre's builder article lists actions such as visit profile, follow profile, connection request, follow-up message, free Open InMail, paid InMail, email, like a post and webhook, with conditions such as 'If connected' and 'If email exists' that split the flow into two paths. Follow-up messages are for 1st-degree connections.

Email is a step inside the LinkedIn flow
The pricing page lists multichannel sequences with requests, messages and email follow-ups. The Email step needs an integrated email account and an available address for the lead.

Built around the LinkedIn profile
The Business plan lists a dedicated country-based IP address, Profile Auto Warm-up and smart limit ranges under account safety. The pricing page also lists unlimited campaigns on the Business plan.

One seat, one LinkedIn account
The help centre says one seat can be connected to one LinkedIn account at a time, and the price is per seat.

Not an official LinkedIn product
Its own footer says Expandi is not an official product published by LinkedIn and that use is at your own risk.

What Expandi does not say
We looked, and found no statement on these. That is about its published pages only, not about the product.
- Anything about warming up an email mailbox or checking SPF, DKIM and DMARC
- Email sending limits or a daily email cap
- Which email providers apart from Gmail can be connected, in the pages we read
Where the sources disagree
We report each version rather than pick one.
- Expandi's home page counts the builder as '10 different actions and 10 conditions' in one place, '9 actions and 8 conditions' in another and '19 actions and 11 conditions' in its comparison table, so we do not quote one count.
- Expandi's FAQ says there is one base plan with all features, while its pricing page shows Business and Agency plans.
Only what we could verify.

What it means for you.
Our reading of the facts above. Not a promise, and not the only reasonable reading.
Pick by where the first message goes
If your first touch is a LinkedIn request, Expandi's builder has more LinkedIn actions to work with. If your first touch is an email, Warmerly warms and checks the mailbox before anything sends.
They overlap on one thing only
Both can put an email and a LinkedIn message in one sequence. Beyond that the products do different jobs, and some teams may run both.
Price is per seat on one side, per mailbox on the other
Expandi charges for each LinkedIn account. Warmerly's plans cover mailboxes, and each LinkedIn account is a separate $19 on top.
Pick the one that fits.
Warmerly is the better fit if
- Your outreach starts as cold email and you need the mailbox warmed and checked first
- You want DNS, blocklist and placement checks in the same place as sending
- You only need LinkedIn connection and message steps beside your email
Expandi is the better fit if
- Your outreach starts on LinkedIn and you want the widest set of LinkedIn actions
- You want a dedicated IP per LinkedIn account and a profile warm-up
- You run an agency that needs roles, client reports and white label
Is Expandi an email tool?
Its own pages describe it as LinkedIn outreach software. Email follow-ups are one step type in a LinkedIn sequence. We found no mailbox warmup or DNS checks on its pages.
Does Warmerly do LinkedIn?
Yes, as a paid add-on at $19 a month per connected account, with connection and message steps in the same campaign sequence. It has fewer LinkedIn actions than Expandi.
Can I use both?
Nothing on either side stops it. Expandi covers LinkedIn actions and Warmerly covers email warmup and sending. We have not tested the two together.
