- Questions
Yes, there are free email warmup tools in 2026, but only a few have a genuinely free plan rather than a 7-day trial. Warmerly's Free plan warms one mailbox with unlimited warmup, no card and no time limit. TrulyInbox and e-warmup each give one mailbox free forever at 10 warmup emails a day. Warmforge gives one free warming slot on your first workspace. Everything else is a trial or paid.
A genuinely free plan, for this page, means three things: you can warm at least one real mailbox, you do not enter a card, and it does not switch off after a few days. By that test, the list of free email warmup tools in 2026 is short. Most tools that rank for free email warmup offer a 7-day free trial, which is enough to see the dashboard but not enough to warm a mailbox, since warmup itself takes two to four weeks. We read each vendor's own pricing page in October 2026 and list only what those pages say.
Free email warmup tools 2026: the free plans compared
| Tool | Free mailboxes | Free warmup volume | Time limit | Card needed | Gmail / Google Workspace | Outlook / Microsoft 365 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Warmerly Free | 1 | Unlimited warmup emails | None | No | Yes (Google app password) | Yes (Microsoft sign-in) |
| TrulyInbox Free | 1 | 10 warmup emails a day | None (free forever) | No | Yes | Yes (Outlook.com, Office 365) |
| e-warmup Free Forever | 1 | 10 warmup emails a day | None (no expiry) | No | Yes | Yes |
| Warmforge free slot | 1 slot, first workspace only | Not stated | Not stated | Not stated | Google Workspace (personal Gmail not named) | Yes |
1. Warmerly Free: unlimited warmup on one mailbox
Warmerly's Free plan covers one mailbox, one campaign, 100 campaign emails a month and 500 leads per campaign. Warmup emails are never counted against you, so the mailbox warms at the pace Warmerly ramps it, not at a fixed free-plan cap. There is no card and no time limit. Gmail and Google Workspace connect with a Google app password, and Outlook.com and Microsoft 365 connect with one-click Microsoft sign-in. Other providers connect over IMAP and SMTP.
The catch: one mailbox only, and the 100 campaign emails a month are a real ceiling if you want to send cold email from the free plan. Campaign emails sent on Free also carry a Powered by Warmerly line. If you need more mailboxes, the paid plans are flat rather than per mailbox, and the comparison is on our email warmup pricing page.
2. TrulyInbox Free: one account, 10 warmup emails a day
TrulyInbox describes its free plan as free forever for one account with 10 daily warmup emails and basic deliverability tracking, and says no credit card is needed. Its FAQ says it supports Gmail, Google Workspace, Outlook.com and Office 365, plus Yahoo, Zoho and SMTP/IMAP.
The catch: 10 warmup emails a day is a light load. It keeps a quiet mailbox active, but it is slow for a brand-new domain you plan to send cold email from. Paid plans start at $29 a month for unlimited accounts with a shared daily volume, with a 7-day trial.
3. e-warmup Free Forever: one mailbox plus placement tests
e-warmup's pricing page lists a Free Forever plan: one mailbox, 10 warmup emails a day, 5 DNS score tests and 5 inbox placement tests a month, with the line No Credit Card. No Expiry. Its homepage shows Gmail, Outlook and Microsoft 365 among compatible providers.
The catch: the same 10 emails a day as TrulyInbox. The five free placement tests are the useful extra, since they show where your mail actually lands. The next plan up, Basic, is $49 a month for 5 mailboxes.
4. Warmforge: one free warming slot, terms unclear
Warmforge sells warmup by mailbox slot at $10 per slot per month, billed quarterly. Its homepage lists 1 Free Warming Slot and 1 Free Placement Test a month as perks available on your first workspace. Its FAQ says it works with all Google Workspace and Outlook mailboxes, and also says there is no free trial because you buy slots to warm mailboxes.
The catch: the page does not say whether the free slot lasts or what volume it warms, and it does not name personal Gmail. Check the terms in the app before relying on it. Salesforge customers get Warmforge slots included.
Free trials, not free plans
These tools come up in free email warmup tool lists, but what they offer free is a trial, a discount or a separate free checker. A trial is still worth using to test a dashboard. It will not finish warming a new mailbox.
| Tool | What is free | Card needed | Paid from |
|---|---|---|---|
| Warmup Inbox | 7-day trial | No | $19 per inbox a month ($15 billed yearly) |
| Mailivery | 7-day trial | Not stated | $29 a month, unlimited mailboxes |
| Warmy.io | 7-day trial | No | From $49 a month, volume-based |
| Smartlead | Free trial, length not stated | No | $39 a month, warmup built in |
| Mailreach | No trial; 20% off the first 30 days of your first mailbox, plus a free spam test tool | n/a | $19.50 per mailbox a month |
| Mailwarm | No traditional free trial | n/a | $69 a month for 1 mailbox, billed yearly |
| Lemwarm | Included in every lemlist plan; no standalone free plan stated | n/a | $29 per email a month |
| Warmbox | No free plan stated; a free blacklist and DNS checker | n/a | $19 a month for 1 inbox |
Two names in some free lists are not warmup tools at all. LiteMail and Puzzle Inbox sell pre-warmed Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 inboxes. LiteMail's free offer is a search for pre-warmed domains, and Puzzle Inbox lists only paid per-inbox pricing.
Do free email warmup tools work with Gmail and Outlook?
All four free plans above warm Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 mailboxes. For personal Gmail, Warmerly, TrulyInbox and e-warmup name it; Warmforge names only Google Workspace. Whichever tool you use, publish SPF, DKIM and DMARC on your sending domain first. A warmup tool cannot fix missing authentication, and Gmail and Outlook score it before they score engagement.
Free email warmup limits: when a free plan is enough
- One mailbox you want to keep active between campaigns: any of the four free plans works.
- One brand-new mailbox you will send cold email from: pick a plan whose warmup volume can ramp, not a fixed 10 a day.
- Two or more mailboxes: no genuinely free plan covers more than one, so compare paid plans on total cost.
- You want to know where mail lands, not just warm it: e-warmup's free placement tests or a deliverability checker.
Questions
Is there a free email warmup tool?
Yes. As of October 2026, Warmerly, TrulyInbox and e-warmup each have a free plan for one mailbox with no card and no time limit. Warmerly's free warmup is unlimited; TrulyInbox and e-warmup cap it at 10 warmup emails a day. Warmforge offers one free warming slot on your first workspace. Most other tools offer a 7-day trial instead.
Which free email warmup tool works with Gmail and Outlook?
Warmerly, TrulyInbox and e-warmup all list Gmail and Outlook or Microsoft 365. Warmerly connects Gmail and Google Workspace with a Google app password and Outlook.com and Microsoft 365 with Microsoft sign-in. Warmforge names Google Workspace and Outlook mailboxes but not personal Gmail.
What are the limits on free email warmup plans?
Every genuinely free warmup plan checked in October 2026 covers one mailbox. TrulyInbox and e-warmup allow 10 warmup emails a day. Warmerly does not count warmup emails, but its Free plan allows 100 campaign emails a month and one campaign. Warmforge does not state the volume of its free slot.
Is a 7-day free trial enough to warm up an email account?
No. Warming a new mailbox usually takes two to four weeks of steady activity before it can send cold email safely. A 7-day trial lets you test the dashboard and setup, but the warmup stops when the trial ends unless you pay.
Does Warmup Inbox still have a free plan?
Not as of October 2026. Warmup Inbox's pricing page lists a 7-day trial with no card required, then paid plans from $19 per inbox a month, or $15 billed yearly. No free plan is mentioned.
