What this checks, and how.
- We read the TXT records for SPF, for DKIM at your selector (or at a list of common selectors if you leave it blank) and for _dmarc, plus the MX records.
- The lookup goes from your browser to a public DNS resolver (Cloudflare, with Google as a fallback). Warmerly sees and stores nothing.
- Each record is checked against rules receiving servers apply, such as a single SPF record, the 10-lookup limit and a DMARC policy. Findings are sorted so the fixes come first.

What is a DKIM selector?
It is the label your sending service publishes its signing key under, as selector._domainkey.yourdomain.com. If you leave it blank we try common selectors, which can miss a custom one. Your sending service's setup page names yours.
Does a clean result guarantee inbox placement?
No. Authentication is the baseline. Mailbox providers also look at sender reputation, content and sending patterns.
