An Invite Ramp-Up you configure; other actions start at their full cap
LinkedIn account warmup, in one look.
Warmerly ramps every kind of LinkedIn action on a fixed curve and runs warmup activity, though its own doc of 12 October 2026 says it had not run live in production, while lemlist has an Invite Ramp-Up setting for invitations only. lemlist has an Invite Ramp-Up setting: you choose a daily step and a cap, and it adds that many invitations each day until the cap. Other LinkedIn actions start at their full cap unless you lower them by hand. Warmerly ramps every kind of LinkedIn action on a fixed curve and runs warmup activity (posts, reactions, comments, views). Warmerly's LinkedIn warmup had not run live in production when its own doc was written on 12 October 2026, and we did not re-test it. Last checked 21 October 2026.

Invitations a day
Standard account, first 22 days
- Warmerly: a fixed curve for invitations, 5, 6, 8 then 10 a day
- lemlist: you set the step and the cap, and the starting volume is not stated
Warmerly's own LinkedIn doc said on 12 October 2026 that its warmup had not yet run live in production, and we did not re-test it.
Warmerly, in detail.
A fixed ramp for invitations and for every other action, plus real warmup activity on a schedule. A new connection starts with warmup paused, and a restriction pauses it again until someone switches it back on.
Invitations
A standard account sends 5 invitations a day on days 1 to 3, 6 on days 4 to 7, 8 on days 8 to 14 and 10 from day 15. Premium accounts have a ceiling of 20 a day and 100 a week.
Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026
A weekly ceiling as well
The weekly invitation ceiling is 50 for a standard account and 100 for Premium, ramped on the same curve. A standard account is therefore held to 25 a week on days 1 to 3, 30 on days 4 to 7, 40 on days 8 to 14 and 50 after that.

Everything else at 20, 35, 55, 75 and 100 per cent
Profile views, reactions, comments, messages and posts ramp over days 1 to 3, 4 to 7, 8 to 14, 15 to 21 and from day 22. At full ceiling the daily caps are 40 profile views, 20 reactions, 5 comments, 50 messages and 2 posts.

The clock is calendar age as well as warmup days
The day the ramp counts from is the larger of the warmup day count and the connection's calendar age. An account used for campaigns alone therefore still climbs the ramp. Before this was fixed an account with warmup paused sat on day 1 and its campaign sent no connection requests for the first days.

Real activity
Warmup plans an AI-written post, reactions and AI comments, and profile views, and it never invites someone who is a lead in a campaign. Activity is spread across an 08:00 to 20:00 local window. Posts start once the post cap is at least 1, which is from warmup day 8.

Topics decide what it does
Warmup searches up to 3 of the account's topics and industries, with 10 results each, for posts to react to and people to view. An account with no topics only posts. Generated text is dropped, not published, if it contains a link, an unfilled placeholder or a dash.
Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026
It pauses itself
A failure whose text looks like a restriction, checkpoint or rate limit sets the account's warmup to safety paused, with the reason. It stays paused until someone turns it back on. A new connection also starts paused.

Not seen live
Warmerly's own LinkedIn doc recorded on 12 October 2026 that no warmup job had yet run in production and that posting, reacting and commenting were read from the provider's docs, not exercised live. We did not re-test it.

lemlist, in detail.
Ramp-Up applies to invitations only, and you configure it. The help centre pairs it with published daily maximums, guidance on pending invitations and a recovery routine after a warning.
How Ramp-Up works
You switch on LinkedIn Invite Ramp-Up per day and set a step. Each day lemlist adds that amount to the invitations sent until it reaches your maximum, then sends at your daily limit.

Where the settings live
In Settings, under Sending limits, there are three LinkedIn controls: the Ramp-Up per day toggle and step, the maximum LinkedIn invites sent by lemlist in 24 hours, and the maximum LinkedIn network checks made in 24 hours.

An example in the article
A daily cap of 20 invitations with a Ramp-Up of +2 a day lands at roughly 100 invitations over a five-day week. The starting volume is not stated.

It can reset
If you stop sending invitations for several days, Ramp-Up may reset. The article gives no number of days.

Other actions
Messages, profile visits, follows and comments start at their full daily cap unless you lower them in Sending limits. The article recommends starting around 50 actions a day in total on a new or dormant account, and lowering the others by hand for two to three weeks before raising them gradually.

Published daily maximums
A second help article names up to 20 invitations, 30 messages and 30 profile visits a day, and no more than 100 actions a day across all kinds. It calls the weekly invitation figure of roughly 100 observed and cites no LinkedIn source.

Pending invitations
The article advises withdrawing invitations after 7 to 14 days and keeping pending invitations under 25 per cent of those sent over 60 days. The help collection also has an article on withdrawing pending invitations automatically.

After a warning
If LinkedIn shows a warning the article advises pausing all LinkedIn steps for at least 48 hours, then restarting very low. The connection-requests article names around 5 actions a day, mostly soft actions, as the restart level.

What lemlist does not say
We looked, and found no statement on these. That is about its published pages only, not about the product.
- A starting value or default step for Ramp-Up, and any warmup activity such as posts or reactions.
- How many days without invitations make Ramp-Up reset.
- A published plan limit on LinkedIn actions, as opposed to the help centre's guidance.
Where the sources disagree
We report each version rather than pick one.
- lemlist's connection-request article puts invitations at up to 20 a day and roughly 100 a week, and calls the weekly figure observed. Its Ramp-Up article gives the same 100 a week as its claim. Neither cites LinkedIn.
- The Ramp-Up article's weekly arithmetic is not consistent: it treats 20 a day over five working days as 100 a week, but 30 a day as 210 a week, which assumes seven days.
Only what we could verify.

What it means for you.
Our reading of the facts above. Not a promise, and not the only reasonable reading.
A new profile
Warmerly will start low for you and add activity. lemlist leaves the numbers to you and warns that only invitations ramp.
Trust
LinkedIn's rules and your account's health decide what is safe. Neither ramp is a guarantee.
Reading the lemlist example
A cap of 20 with a step of +2 is a ten day climb if it began at 2 (2, 4, 6 and so on to 20, which adds up to 110 invitations over those ten days). That is our arithmetic on an assumed start, because the article does not state one. At 20 a day, a five-day week gives the 100 the article quotes.
Reading the Warmerly curve
A standard account sends 5 + 5 + 5 = 15 invitations in its first three days, then 6 a day for four days (24), so 39 in the first week. It reaches 10 a day on day 15. A Premium account follows the same shape at double the numbers: 10 a day first, then 20 from day 15.
The gap between the two ceilings
lemlist's guidance puts a mature invitation rate at 20 a day, 100 a week. Warmerly holds a standard account to 10 a day and 50 a week, and only a Premium account to 20 and 100. A team moving a standard profile across will find Warmerly's ceiling half of what lemlist's help article describes. Check which kind of LinkedIn account you have before you compare.
A campaign on an account you already use
Both tools warn that invitations and messages sent by hand count against the same LinkedIn quota. lemlist's article says to reduce lemlist's limits if you also prospect manually. In Warmerly, lower the account's caps in the same way, since caps can only be tightened.
Pick the one that fits.
Warmerly is the better fit if
- You want the ramp set for you, including profile activity.
- You accept that the live behaviour has less track record than the code.
- You would rather start with a low fixed ceiling than choose your own step.
lemlist is the better fit if
- You want to set the step and cap yourself.
- You want guidance on recovery after a warning.
- You want to withdraw stale pending invitations automatically.
Does lemlist warm up a LinkedIn account?
It has an Invite Ramp-Up setting for invitations only: you set a daily step and a cap. Other actions start at full cap unless you lower them. Warmerly ramps every action on a fixed curve and runs warmup activity, though its own doc says that activity had not yet run live in production on 12 October 2026.
Can I change Warmerly's LinkedIn ramp?
Not the curve. You can set lower daily caps for each kind of action, and the lower number wins. You cannot raise a cap above the ramp for the account's age.
What happens to Warmerly's warmup if LinkedIn restricts the account?
A failure that looks like a restriction, checkpoint or rate limit sets the warmup to safety paused with the reason shown. It stays paused until someone turns it back on.
What does lemlist advise after a LinkedIn warning?
Lower the daily invite limit and the Ramp-Up step, check the other limits, keep the pattern steady, and if LinkedIn shows a warning pause all LinkedIn steps for at least 48 hours, then restart very low.
Does Warmerly post or comment on LinkedIn for me?
Warmup plans AI-written posts, reactions and comments from warmup day 8 or later, using the topics set on the account. Generated text with a link, a placeholder or a dash is dropped. Its own doc says these actions had not been seen live in production on 12 October 2026.
