Warmerly

A free plan with no card that can send, or a 7-day trial on paid plans with a card

lemlist

14-day trial with no card, then a free plan that cannot launch campaigns

How Warmerly does it

Warmerly, in detail.

A free plan that does not expire, and a card-first trial on paid plans. The standard trial is 7 days, a 30-day offer exists for people who claim it, and approved startups get 90 days. LinkedIn is outside all of them.

01

Free plan

$0 for 1 mailbox, with no card and no end date, 100 campaign sends a month and 1 active campaign.

02

Paid trial

7 days on Starter, Growth or Agency. A card is needed, the first charge is on day 8, and you can cancel before then.

03

LinkedIn has no trial

A LinkedIn account is $19 a month, charged at once, with no trial and no refund.

04

A 30-day offer

Warmerly has a 30-day trial offer on any paid plan for people who claim it from its sign-up pop-up. The claim must be made within 14 days of creating the account, a card is taken when you pick the paid plan and the first charge is on day 31. It replaces the 7-day trial rather than adding to it.

05

One trial per workspace

A workspace gets one paid trial. Whether it has already used it is checked at checkout, separately from how long the trial is.

06

Startups get longer

An approved application to the startup programme gets 3 months of Agency as a trial. A startup grant ignores the 30-day offer, because the two do not stack.

How lemlist does it

lemlist, in detail.

A 14-day trial without a card, then a free plan that cannot send. The trial is for a new account's first team only and cannot be reactivated, and its 200 credits are one off.

04

The pricing banner

When we read the pricing page it showed a banner offering an extended 30-day free trial 'perks of' a creator's content. It looks tied to a referral link, and its terms were not shown.

08

The pricing page's own trial wording

The pricing page FAQ describes a 14-day free trial with Multichannel features except in-app calls, and 200 free credits, and says you can test lemAgent on your own data before upgrading.

What lemlist does not say

We looked, and found no statement on these. That is about its published pages only, not about the product.

  • Whether the 30-day banner is a general offer.
  • How to extend the trial: the help article does not cover it.
  • How many LinkedIn actions a day the trial allows.

Where the sources disagree

We report each version rather than pick one.

  • The pricing FAQ and the help article say 14 days. A banner on the pricing page, when we read it, said 30 days and named a creator's content.
  • The pricing page FAQ says warm-up is included in all plans, while the trial help article says warming needs a paid plan. Both can be true if the trial is not counted as a plan.

In practice

What it means for you.

Our reading of the facts above. Not a promise, and not the only reasonable reading.

1

Trying it with no card

Both let you start without one: Warmerly through its Free plan, lemlist through its trial.

2

After the trial

Warmerly's Free plan carries on and can send. lemlist's Freemium cannot launch campaigns.

3

What 14 days can prove

lemlist's trial allows 50 emails a day, so at most 700 emails over 14 days, our arithmetic. Because warming is not part of the trial, a new mailbox you test in it has had no warm up from lemlist. That tells you how the interface feels, and little about how well a campaign would land.

4

What the Warmerly Free plan can prove

One mailbox with warmup, 100 campaign sends a month and one active campaign. It is enough to see how the mailbox warms and how a first campaign reads, and not enough to test a team's volume. Anything bigger starts a paid trial that takes a card.

5

When the card matters

A 7-day Warmerly trial charges on day 8 unless you cancel, and the 30-day offer charges on day 31. If you do not want to put a card in at all, the Free plan or lemlist's trial are the two ways to look without one. Put the cancel date in your diary on the day you start either.

6

Starting late

lemlist's trial is only for the first account creation and cannot be reactivated, so a team that signs up too early to evaluate properly cannot get a second one. Warmerly's 30-day offer has to be claimed within 14 days of creating the account, so the same applies in a different form.

Who it suits

Pick the one that fits.

Warmerly

Warmerly is the better fit if

  • You want a free tier that keeps sending after a month.
  • You want to warm one mailbox for free.
  • You are a startup and would use 90 days of Agency.
  • You want a trial length you can see in advance and a first charge date that is stated.
lemlist

lemlist is the better fit if

  • You want two weeks of the full Multichannel toolkit without a card.
  • You want to test calling, data and AI features first.
  • You want unlimited team seats during the trial.
  • You are happy for the trial to be a look at the product and not a delivery test.
Questions
What happens when lemlist's trial ends?

The account moves to Freemium automatically. You can still browse campaigns, reports and leads, but you cannot launch or send campaigns until you pay.

Does the lemlist trial include warm-up?

No. The help article says email warming requires a paid plan, and that Aircall and in-app calling are not available in the trial either.

How long is Warmerly's trial?

7 days on paid email plans, with a card and the first charge on day 8. A 30-day offer replaces it for people who claim it within 14 days of signing up, and approved startups get 90 days. LinkedIn accounts have no trial.

Can I get a second free trial?

lemlist says its trial is only available during the first account creation and cannot be reactivated. Warmerly allows one paid trial per workspace, and its Free plan has no end date.
