How Warmerly does it

Warmerly, in detail.

Company search in plain words, an email finder, an email verifier and a LinkedIn people search, with monthly allowances by plan and a free search.

01

Company search in plain words

Lead finder turns a sentence such as 'dental practices in the UK' into filters and shows matching companies. Searching is free. Exporting a CSV or adding to a campaign uses your monthly lead allowance. You can describe up to 60 searches an hour, and describing a search does not use an AI credit.

02

Companies, not a list of named people

The Lead database tab searches companies from Warmerly's own database, built by reading public business websites. They are businesses with a published way to contact them. It holds nothing like revenue, funding or ratings, and a search that asks for them shows those chips as not applied rather than guessing.

03

Filters it does have

Keywords, country, town or city, business type, how the company can be reached (email address, contact form or LinkedIn page), the technology its website uses, email provider, company size band, founding year, and signals such as UK-registered, hiring now, has a phone number, VAT registered and has a contact form.

04

A LinkedIn people search

A second tab, LinkedIn search, searches LinkedIn itself for named people. It uses your own connected LinkedIn account and a Warmerly Link slot, so it is bound by that account's limits, not by a Warmerly-owned people database.

05

Finder and verifier

Email finder takes a website, domain or LinkedIn URL, or a name plus company. A lookup counts only when an address is found. Results carry a status (Verified, Probable, Unverified, Invalid or Not found) and a confidence from 0 to 100, with how the address was found: site scrape, pattern guess, provider or mx only. Email verification answers Safe to send, Send with caution, Do not send or Unknown.

06

Allowances by plan

Verifications, email lookups and lead exports a month: Starter 5,000, 1,000 and 500; Growth 25,000, 10,000 and 5,000; Agency 150,000, 100,000 and 50,000. Free has 250, 50 and 100.

Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026

07

Leads in one campaign

How many leads a single campaign can hold depends on the plan: 2,500 on Starter, 25,000 on Growth and 100,000 on Agency.

08

An API for the same search

The Leads API searches the same company database, exports matches to CSV or pushes them into a campaign audience. Suppressed companies are excluded at search time and again at export time. API access is an Agency feature.

How lemlist does it

lemlist, in detail.

A large person-level database with 56 People filters and 37 Company filters, finders for emails and phones, AI contact sourcing, and data credits sold as add-ons.

01

02

Data add-ons

Lead data enrichment is listed at $20 a month ($16 on yearly billing) for 2k credits a month, that is 400 emails or 100 phones. Buying intent signals are $29 a month ($21 yearly) for 100 signals a month. The pricing page says credits roll over while the subscription is active.

04

56 People filters

The People tab lists 56 filters, by our count: job title and seniority, department, years of experience, skills, country and city, company industry, size, revenue, last funding date, and headcount and 6-month growth for seven departments. It also has filters for people not already in your contacts, a campaign or your CRM.

06

Contact details are enrichment

The People database article says contact details are not in the base database. Options such as finding verified emails or phone numbers depend on your credits and plan. Results show 100 leads per page.

07

AI contact sourcing and CRM exclusion

The Leads help collection covers AI contact sourcing, which suggests people at each target account ranked by fit score. People already in HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive can be hidden from searches.

What lemlist does not say

We looked, and found no statement on these. That is about its published pages only, not about the product.

  • Whether the 650M+ figure counts people, companies or contact records.
  • How many credits one email or phone lookup costs outside the add-on bundle ratios (2k credits is 400 emails or 100 phones).
  • How many leads a free-plan search shows: a help article says only first-page results.
  • What 'verified' means in the 450M+ verified contacts wording.
  • Per-plan import limits: the import article gives none.

Where the sources disagree

We report each version rather than pick one.

  • lemlist's pricing page says 650M+ leads, its home page says 600M+, and a help article on choosing a plan says 450M+.

In practice

What it means for you.

Our reading of the facts above. Not a promise, and not the only reasonable reading.

1

Building a list of named buyers

lemlist is built for it: filters on people, phone numbers and buying signals. Warmerly finds companies and then an address at that company, or searches LinkedIn through your own account.

2

Bringing your own list

Both accept a CSV. Warmerly's verifier can check the addresses before you send.

3

What 2k credits buys

lemlist's enrichment add-on at $20 gives 2k credits, which it states as 400 emails or 100 phones. That is 5 credits an email and 20 a phone, so $0.05 per email and $0.20 per phone at the monthly list price. On Warmerly Starter, 1,000 email lookups a month come with the plan rather than as a separate purchase.

4

Finding local businesses

A search for dental practices in one UK city is exactly what the plain-words box is for. The same job in lemlist would use company and location filters, then a credit per email found.

5

Targeting by job title

If your offer is to heads of finance at companies with 50 to 200 staff, lemlist's seniority, department and size filters match it directly. Warmerly's company size band is the nearest filter, and it holds no job titles.

6

A team of three on credits

On Multichannel Expert, 3 users get 3 x 400 = 1,200 enrichment credits a month, which is 240 emails at the 5 credit ratio. A single Warmerly Growth plan gives 10,000 email lookups a month for the whole workspace.

Questions
Does Warmerly have a lead database?

Yes, a company database built from public business websites, plus an email finder and verifier, and a LinkedIn search for named people through your own account. Warmerly has not published its size. lemlist's is much larger and person-level.

Is searching Warmerly's database free?

Yes. Only exporting a CSV and adding leads to a campaign use your monthly lead allowance: 500 on Starter, 5,000 on Growth, 50,000 on Agency and 100 on Free.

How big is lemlist's database?

lemlist says three different things: 650M+ on its pricing page, 600M+ on its home page and 450M+ in a help article. None of them says whether the number counts people, companies or contact records.

Do I pay extra for contact data in lemlist?

The People database article says contact details are not in the base database and that finding emails or phones depends on your credits and plan. Multichannel Expert includes 400 credits per user per month, and the enrichment add-on is $20 a month for 2k credits.

Can Warmerly find phone numbers?

It can filter companies that have a published phone number and shows the company phone. The email finder looks up email addresses. We found no personal phone number lookup in Warmerly.
