Integrations and API

One row, in depth: what each tool does, the verified numbers, and who each suits.

Closely details read from its pricing page, home page, product and legal pages and help centre on 21 October 2026.

Warmerly

The API and webhooks on the Agency plan, an MCP server on every plan; no CRM sync found.

Closely

The short answer

Integrations and API, in one look.

Warmerly has an API and mailbox-health webhooks on Agency, an MCP server on every plan and no CRM sync. Closely lists native CRM integrations with Salesforce, Pipedrive, HubSpot and GoHighLevel and webhooks on every plan, and its help centre also covers Zoho CRM. We found no public API. How Warmerly does it

Warmerly, in detail.

An API and 16 mailbox-health webhooks on the Agency plan, an MCP server on every plan, and connections for Gmail, Outlook, Zoho and SMTP and IMAP mailboxes. No CRM sync found, and no listed Zapier app: the help guide only says a key can be used from tools such as Zapier.

01

An API, on the Agency plan

API keys and the API need the Agency plan ($179 a month). Keys start with wmv_, go in an X-Api-Key header to https://app.warmerly.com/api/v1, and each user can hold up to 10 active keys. The default limit is 60 requests a minute per key, adjustable from 1 to 120. Free, Starter and Growth get a 403 agency_plan_required error.

02

16 mailbox-health webhooks

Outbound webhooks are signed POSTs about mailbox health. There are 16 event types, such as score_drop, auth_fail, dns_changed, auto_paused and aged_in. They do not cover opens, clicks or replies. Agency only, and each user can hold up to 10 subscriptions.

03

Signed, retried deliveries

Every delivery carries an X-Warmerly-Signature header, the HMAC-SHA256 of the raw body. Each delivery is tried up to 3 times. A failed event is not redelivered later, and a subscription switches itself off after 10 consecutive sweeps in which a delivery failed.

04

An MCP server on every plan

An MCP server at /api/mcp lets Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code and Cursor read and act in a workspace after an OAuth 2.1 sign-in. It is on every plan including Free and needs no API key. Reads and writes share 60 calls a minute per connection, and no tool can start or resume campaign sending.

05

Mailbox connections

Warmerly connects Gmail, Outlook, Zoho or any SMTP and IMAP mailbox, with Google and Microsoft sign-in. It also has hosted mailboxes.

06

What the API covers

The API reference documents campaigns (create, update, start, pause, resume, stats), their steps, email and LinkedIn senders, leads, a readiness check, a rendered message preview and campaign duplication. It is an API for running Warmerly from your own code, and it does not push leads into a CRM for you.

Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026

07

Tools such as Zapier

The help guide on using the API says a key lets your own code, scripts or tools like Zapier work with Warmerly, and the key page uses Zapier as an example key name. We found no Warmerly app in a Zapier or Make directory and no ready made CRM connector, so a CRM link means building it yourself on the API.

08

What an AI assistant can do through MCP

The MCP server has tool groups for campaigns, the inbox, leads, mailboxes, deliverability, account, help and transactional email. In the inbox group an assistant can list and read conversations, draft a reply, send one and set a category. Every write is recorded in an audit log, and no tool can start or resume campaign sending.

09

Access you can take back

MCP clients sign in with OAuth 2.1 and PKCE, and you can revoke a grant at any time. Removing a person from a workspace also revokes any AI app connections they made to it. API keys are shown once, stored only as hashes and individually revocable.

10

Where Warmerly is behind

There is no native HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, GoHighLevel or Zoho sync, and the webhooks cover mailbox health only, so a reply or a booked meeting does not reach another system by itself. The API and webhooks need the $179 Agency plan.

How Closely does it

Closely, in detail.

CRM integrations and webhooks on every plan, with the Owner as the only role that can set them up. No public API, no Zapier app and no payload format on the pages we read.

01

CRM integrations

Its home page names Salesforce, Pipedrive, HubSpot and GoHighLevel, and its help centre has articles for each plus Zoho CRM.

02

Webhooks

Adding or removing a tag or note sends a webhook, and a webhook can retrieve emails and phones. Contacts can sync at campaign creation, from My Network or from the Inbox. Resync from My Network is limited to once an hour.

03

On every plan

CRM integrations and webhooks are ticked on every plan in the pricing table.

closelyhq.com/pricing · read 21 October 2026

05

What the CRM sync sends

Its home page says HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive receive direct messages, InMails, connection events and replies on contact, account and deal timelines, to trigger workflows, prevent duplicates and track attribution. It describes GoHighLevel as syncing conversations, leads and replies to power automations.

06

Webhook triggers and defaults

A webhook fires when a tag or a note is added or removed, both on by default. The setup takes a mandatory URL and an option to include emails and phone numbers, on by default. When you create a campaign you choose to sync all people, only those who accepted the request or only those who answered.

help.closelyhq.com/en/articles/7470856-webhooks-integration · read 22 October 2026

07

What the webhook article leaves out

It gives no payload fields, no signature or authentication, no retry rule and no rate limit. The only limit it states is that a contact can be resynced once an hour, from My Network or the Inbox with the Sync button. It is dated 11 March 2025.

08

A whole help collection

Its help centre has a collection called Integrations with other CRMs, with 13 articles, and its description mentions webhooks and HubSpot. We read the collection list and the webhook and team access articles, not all 13.

09

Email connections on every plan

The pricing table ticks OAuth Gmail and Outlook connection and custom SMTP connection on every plan, alongside CRM integrations and webhooks.

10

Owner only, for now

Its team access article, dated 19 November 2025, says only the Owner can set up integrations and that integrations are still being added to team access, so this may change. Admins and Users cannot connect a CRM today.

What Closely does not say

We looked, and found no statement on these. That is about its published pages only, not about the product.

  • A public API with keys and endpoints
  • Webhook payload format or authentication
  • An MCP server
  • A Zapier or Make app on the home page, pricing page or the help pages we read
  • Webhook payload fields, signing or retries
  • A rate limit for webhooks
  • Which CRM is available on which plan
The numbers

Only what we could verify.

In practice

What it means for you.

Our reading of the facts above. Not a promise, and not the only reasonable reading.

1

Closely wins on CRM

Native integrations for five CRMs on every plan. Warmerly has none.

2

Warmerly wins on API and AI assistants

An API on Agency and an MCP server on every plan. We found neither at Closely.

3

Cheapest way to get data out

Closely lists CRM integrations and webhooks from Starter at $65 a month. Warmerly's API and webhooks start on Agency at $179, a difference of $114 a month. For a team that only wants LinkedIn replies in HubSpot, Closely is cheaper and needs no code. Warmerly's Agency plan also buys client workspaces and 100 mailboxes.

4

What 60 requests a minute means

At the default of 60 requests a minute a key can make 3,600 an hour, and at the ceiling of 120 it can make 7,200. A script that reads every campaign's stats once an hour stays far below that unless you run hundreds of campaigns.

5

Once an hour is slow for a live sync

Closely's resync limit of one an hour per contact is at most 24 a day for each contact. That suits a CRM that only needs the latest state, and it does not suit anything that must react to a reply in minutes.

6

Different events, different jobs

Warmerly's 16 webhook events tell you a mailbox is unhealthy: a score drop, an authentication failure, an automatic pause. Closely's webhooks tell you a lead was tagged or noted. They answer different questions, so comparing the counts of events says little.

Who it suits

Pick the one that fits.

Warmerly

Warmerly is the better fit if

  • You want an API or to connect Claude or ChatGPT through MCP
  • You want your own code, scripts or an AI assistant to run campaigns and read the inbox
  • You want to be alerted by signed webhook when a mailbox degrades or pauses
  • You need keys that anyone with the right role can create, not only the account owner
Closely

Closely is the better fit if

  • You want your LinkedIn leads pushed to a CRM without code
  • You want replies and connection events written to a CRM timeline without code
  • You use Salesforce, Pipedrive, HubSpot, GoHighLevel or Zoho
  • You want CRM integrations and webhooks included on the cheapest plan
Questions
Does Closely have an API?

We found no public API in its pricing page, home page or help centre. It lists CRM integrations and webhooks.

Does Warmerly connect to a CRM?

We found no CRM sync. It has an API and webhooks on Agency and an MCP server on every plan.

Which CRMs does Closely connect to?

Its home page and pricing navigation name Salesforce, Pipedrive, HubSpot and GoHighLevel, and its help centre also has articles for Zoho CRM. The pricing table ticks CRM integrations on every plan without saying which CRM.

What data does Closely's webhook send?

It fires on tags and notes being added or removed and can include emails and phone numbers. The article gives no payload fields, so ask Closely for a sample before you build on it.

Can I use Warmerly with Zapier?

Through the API only. A key works from tools such as Zapier, but we found no Warmerly app listed there, and the API and its keys need the Agency plan.
