Own IP address per account, in one look.
Warmerly does not list a dedicated IP as a feature, though its LinkedIn provider says each account sits on its own managed proxy. Closely lists a dedicated residential IP for each LinkedIn account on every plan, and an older help article says its dedicated proxies are USA-based with no local option. What sits in the middle
Warmerly does not list a dedicated IP as a feature. Closely lists one, though a 2022 help article calls its proxies USA-based and says it offers no local ones.
What is stated

Neither lets you pick a country, as far as we found.
Warmerly, in detail.
Not a listed Warmerly feature. The provider that runs LinkedIn for Warmerly says each account sits on its own managed proxy, and the code defaults its location to UK. Customers are not offered a country choice, as far as we found.
The provider's statement
Warmerly's LinkedIn doc records the provider's statement that each connected account sits on its own managed proxy, which it calls a dedicated IP per account. That is the provider's statement. We have not tested it, and Warmerly does not list a dedicated IP as a product feature.

What the code sends
When Warmerly connects an account through the provider, its client sends a country value for the managed proxy location, and the default is UK. The connect wizard's client calls it with only an email and password, so no country is sent from the customer's side.

No Warmerly-side proxy for these accounts
For accounts connected this way, Warmerly reserves no proxy of its own. The older li-proxy route did keep a pool of proxies with an optional preferred country, but the provider route replaced it for new accounts.

Where Warmerly is behind
There is no country picker, no custom proxy option and no way to change an account's location in the product. If your LinkedIn account sits in one country and you want the connection to appear to come from the same country, Warmerly gives you no control over that.

What a customer is told
The connect wizard asks for the LinkedIn email and password and nothing about location. Warmerly's pricing page lists the LinkedIn add-on per connected account and does not mention an IP address, so a buyer comparing the two pricing tables sees a stated IP at Closely and none at Warmerly.

Sessions are checked, not only started
Warmerly checks each connected LinkedIn account's status and marks one that has lost its session as disconnected, so a changed session shows in the dashboard instead of failing silently, and the account is reconnected by adding it again. That is account health, not a promise about the IP the session uses.

Daily limits matter as much as the IP
LinkedIn limits are per account, whatever the IP. Warmerly caps a standard account at 10 connection requests a day and 50 a week, and Premium at 20 and 100, ramped over about two weeks. A clean IP does not raise those numbers.

Closely, in detail.
Closely states a dedicated residential IP per LinkedIn account on every plan, through a table row, a product page and a help article. The one help article that says where the proxies sit is from 2022 and says USA-based.
On the pricing table
Dedicated residential IP per LinkedIn account is ticked on every plan.

An older article on local proxies
Its help article says its dedicated USA-based proxies do the same as VPN services and that for now it does not offer local proxies. It is dated 21 March 2022.

Subscribers only
Its safeguard article says dedicated proxies are reserved for paying subscribers and that trial users should stay in warm-up mode only.

Not on the home page
Its home page names CRM integrations, an inbox and sequences, and says automation mimics real behaviour so an account stays safe, with no detail. It does not mention proxies or IP handling, so the IP claim rests on the pricing table, the LinkedIn page and two help articles.

Dated September 2023
The safeguard article says subscribers get a dedicated proxy so that the user and the system use the same login settings. It does not say residential, and it does not mention IP addresses or VPNs. It is dated 12 September 2023.

Not on the free trial
The same article says the dedicated proxy is not allocated during the trial and advises trial users to use warm-up mode only. So a trial does not show you the IP you will pay for.

Precautions it asks of you
Set a warm-up of at least one month. Do not connect the account to other prospecting tools with live LinkedIn campaigns, and avoid using the account on separate devices during active outreach. New accounts should run one campaign at a time, and well-established accounts can send up to 30 connection requests a day. It does not define well-established.

Safe worldwide, with a condition
The 2022 local proxies article says the app is safe worldwide as long as you do not use any other automation tool, and compares its USA-based proxies to VPN services that many people use. It is dated 21 March 2022.

What Closely does not say
We looked, and found no statement on these. That is about its published pages only, not about the product.
- A country or region choice on the pricing page
- The proxy provider
- An extra price for the IP
- Any statement that an IP is residential outside the pricing table and LinkedIn page
- A way to see or change the IP an account uses
- Whether the 2022 USA-only statement still holds
Where the sources disagree
We report each version rather than pick one.
- Closely's pricing page says residential IPs, while a 2022 help article calls them dedicated USA-based proxies; the page and the article are not reconciled.
- Closely's safeguard article describes a dedicated proxy for subscribers without calling it residential or naming a country, and its 2022 article says the proxies are USA-based.
Only what we could verify.

Closely states more
It puts a dedicated residential IP on its pricing table. Warmerly relies on its provider's statement and does not list it.
Neither lets you pick a country
Closely's help article says it offers no local proxies, and Warmerly has no country picker.
The two daily figures are not like for like
Closely's safeguard article allows up to 30 connection requests a day on a well-established account, and Warmerly caps a standard account at 10 (Premium 20). Over a five day week 30 a day is 150, above the figure of about 100 a week that Closely's own help centre gives as LinkedIn's limit, so the daily number is a ceiling and not a plan. Warmerly's 10 a day is 50 over the same week. A higher figure is not safer or riskier by itself.
A trial cannot test the IP
At Closely the dedicated proxy is not allocated in the trial, so the one thing the pricing table highlights cannot be tried first. Warmerly's LinkedIn accounts have no trial at all, so you pay for the first month of either before you see how it behaves.
What to ask before you pay
Is the IP residential or data-centre? In which country? Does it stay fixed for the life of the account? Closely's pricing table answers the first, its 2022 article the second, and neither answers the third. Warmerly's pages answer none of the three, so ask both.
One tool per LinkedIn account
Closely says to keep other automation tools off an account it runs. If you want to try Warmerly's LinkedIn add-on beside Closely, use different LinkedIn accounts rather than running both on one profile.
Pick the one that fits.
Warmerly is the better fit if
- You do not need to control where a LinkedIn session appears from
- You do not need a stated IP and prefer to judge the tool by its published daily limits
- You would rather add LinkedIn at a per account price on top of email, with no plan step
- You want a lower, published daily ceiling for a standard account
Closely is the better fit if
- You want a stated dedicated residential IP for each LinkedIn account on every plan
- You want a dedicated residential IP written into your plan
- You are happy to rely on a 2022 article for where the proxies sit
- You need conditions and lead sources built around a LinkedIn first tool
Does Closely give each LinkedIn account its own IP?
Its pricing table ticks a dedicated residential IP per LinkedIn account on every plan. An older help article says the proxies are USA-based and that local proxies are not offered.
Can I choose the country on Warmerly?
We found no country choice for customers. The code defaults to UK.
Is Closely's IP residential or data-centre?
Its pricing table says dedicated residential IP for each LinkedIn account. Its 2022 help article calls them dedicated USA-based proxies and does not say residential.
Do I get the dedicated IP during the Closely trial?
No. Its safeguard article says the dedicated proxy is not allocated during the trial and that trial users should stay in warm-up mode.
Can I choose the country of the IP?
Not at Closely, per its 2022 article, and not at Warmerly, as far as we found.
