Nothing to buy: warmup covers every mailbox on the plan
$5 a month per extra email account, selector 0 to 20
Cost of warming extra mailboxes, in one look.
Warmerly includes warmup on every mailbox on the plan, while Woodpecker charges $5 a month per email account for each warm-up beyond the 4 included, on a selector that runs from 0 to 20. The two are not like for like, because Woodpecker's price also follows prospects, and Warmerly's plan jumps in steps. The sums below show where each model is cheaper for warm-up alone. Last checked 22 October 2026.

Where Warmerly is behind
Warmerly's plan jumps in steps: a sixth mailbox means moving from Starter to Growth. Woodpecker's add-on is a smooth per-account line.

Plan allowances in one place
Starter also includes 5 active campaigns and 5,000 email verifications a month. Growth includes 25 active campaigns and 25,000 verifications. Agency has no campaign cap and 150,000 verifications a month.

Free warms one mailbox
The Free plan has 1 mailbox and warmup on it is not metered, at $0 with no card and no expiry.

Hosted mailboxes are billed per unit
If you want mailboxes Warmerly hosts, each is $2.99, $1.99 or $0.99 a month on Starter, Growth or Agency and does not use a plan slot. Warmup on them is not a separate charge.
Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026
The cost to steer clear of
The step from Starter to Growth is $30 a month ($49 less $19) and buys 20 more mailbox slots, so a sixth mailbox costs $30 more, and the twenty-sixth mailbox costs $130 more ($179 less $49). That is the shape to compare against a smooth per-account line.

Woodpecker, in detail.
Additional warm-ups are an add-on priced at $5 per email account on a selector from 0 to 20. The help article says you are charged only when you add warm-up to more accounts than your free slots, and that removing warm-up credits your billing.
$5 per extra email account
The add-ons list 'Additional warm-ups' at $5 per email account, with a selector from 0 to 20.

Base price comes first
The 4 included warm-ups are part of the contacted-prospects price. The add-on is charged on top of it.

Worked example from the stated figures
Warming 24 email accounts is the 4 included plus 20 at $5, which is $100 a month in add-ons. That is our arithmetic on the stated prices. It excludes the sending price, which depends on prospects.

Charged only past the free slots
The help article's FAQ says you are charged $5 per mailbox only when you add warm-up to more accounts than your free slots. If all slots are in use, you can replace an existing slot with a new address or buy more.

Stopping the charge
To stop paying for a bought slot, first remove warm-up from the account, then reduce the slot count. The article says removing warm-up 'will result in credits being applied to your billing subscription'. Pausing alone does not stop charges.

Downgrade effect
Downgrading a plan can reduce free slots. The article's example is 13 free slots and 10 on a lower plan, so the 3 already in use are billed.

What Woodpecker does not say
We looked, and found no statement on these. That is about its published pages only, not about the product.
- What happens above 20 additional warm-ups, since the selector stops at 20
- Whether the per-account fee changes with volume or billing period
- How many free warm-up slots each slider step includes beyond the 4 on the pricing page
- Whether the $5 changes with the billing period or volume
- A way to warm more than 24 accounts: the selector stops at 20 extra, and we did not find a larger option
Where the sources disagree
We report each version rather than pick one.
- The selector stops at 20 additional warm-ups. Warming 25 mailboxes would need 21 beyond the 4 included; we did not find what Woodpecker does there.
- The pricing page shows 4 included warm-ups, while the help article says the free count varies by plan without a number. We use the 4 on the pricing page for all sums here.

Woodpecker
Per month. Woodpecker figures were read on woodpecker.co/pricing on 21 October 2026, shown there in USD before VAT, and we could not read a price for any named slider step. Warmerly's email plans cover mailboxes; its LinkedIn accounts are charged per account on top.
What it means for you.
Our reading of the facts above. Not a promise, and not the only reasonable reading.
The gap grows with mailboxes
At 5 mailboxes the extra is $5 on Woodpecker. At 24 it is $100 in add-ons. Warmerly's Growth plan covers 25 mailboxes for $49 including warmup.
Compare totals, not lines
Woodpecker's sending price depends on prospects, which we could not read for a step. Build both totals for your own volume before you decide.
Five mailboxes
On Woodpecker 5 accounts mean 1 extra at $5 a month. On Warmerly, Starter is $19 a month for 5 mailboxes, with campaigns, verifications and a lead database in the same price. Woodpecker looks smaller on the warm-up line alone, but its sending price comes first.
Six mailboxes
Six accounts on Woodpecker is 2 extra warm-ups, $10 a month. On Warmerly a sixth mailbox moves you from Starter ($19) to Growth ($49), a $30 step. This is the place Warmerly's step shape is dearer for warm-up alone.
Ten and twenty-four mailboxes
Ten accounts is 6 extra, $30 a month. Twenty-four is 20 extra, $100 a month. Warmerly's Growth is $49 for either, because it covers 25 mailboxes. Between them the two lines cross at about 14 accounts: 10 extra is $50, level with Growth's $49, and anything over that favours Warmerly on warm-up alone.
Twenty-five and beyond
Twenty-five Woodpecker accounts needs 21 extra warm-ups, but the selector stops at 20. We did not find what Woodpecker does there. Warmerly's Growth covers 25 mailboxes and Agency covers 100 for $179.
Annual cost of the same ten
Ten accounts at $5 for the 6 beyond the free slots is $30 a month, so $360 over twelve months, before the sending price. Warmerly's Growth costs $490 a year on its yearly price, including everything else in the plan.
Pick the one that fits.
Warmerly is the better fit if
- You run more than a handful of mailboxes and want warmup in the plan price
- You want to avoid a line that grows with every mailbox you add
- You expect to warm more than about 14 accounts and want one fixed price
- You do not want to remember to remove warm-up from an account to stop paying for it
Woodpecker is the better fit if
- You warm only a few accounts beyond the 4 included
- You want to pay for warm-ups one account at a time rather than step up a plan
- You warm 6 to 13 accounts and the $5 line is cheaper than Warmerly's Growth step
- You want to add or remove a single warm-up and get a credit back
How much do extra warm-ups cost on Woodpecker?
$5 a month per email account, on a selector from 0 to 20, after the 4 included.
Does Warmerly charge per warm-up?

What would warming 10 mailboxes cost on each?

Does pausing stop the Woodpecker warm-up charge?
