How Warmerly does it

Warmerly, in detail.

Mailboxes are what a Warmerly plan counts. Gmail, Outlook, Zoho, Namecheap and any SMTP and IMAP mailbox connect, hosted mailboxes are sold separately, and the count is a live one you can free by disconnecting.

01

The plan sets the number

Free covers 1 mailbox, Starter 5, Growth 25 and Agency 100. Beyond 100, Max is quoted on a call.

Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026

02

Which mailboxes connect

Warmerly connects Gmail, Outlook, Zoho, Namecheap or any custom SMTP and IMAP mailbox. Outlook.com and Microsoft 365 can also connect by a browser sign-in. Gmail and Google Workspace connect over SMTP and IMAP with a Google app password. It also has hosted mailboxes.

Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026

03

Hosted mailboxes cost extra

Hosted OneMail mailboxes are $2.99, $1.99 and $0.99 a month each on Starter, Growth and Agency, and they do not use a plan mailbox slot.

Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026

04

Where Warmerly is behind

A plan caps mailboxes and Woodpecker does not cap email accounts on its pages. If you want many sending accounts on one low price, that favours Woodpecker.

Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026

05

Going over is refused, not charged

Connecting a mailbox beyond the plan's allowance is refused at that moment with an explanation. Nothing is charged and nothing is lost, and disconnecting a mailbox frees its slot immediately.

Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026

06

Bulk connect by API

The API has a bulk route that takes a list of accounts. Capacity is all-or-nothing: a batch that would breach the mailbox limit is refused whole, and past that gate each row succeeds or fails on its own. API access is on Agency only. We found no CSV upload for mailboxes in the app.

Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026

07

Each connected mailbox starts warming

A mailbox connected in bulk starts with warmup enabled and a status of aging. Credentials are encrypted at rest and never returned by the API.

Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026

08

Per-mailbox settings

Each mailbox has its own daily campaign limit (0 to 1000), minimum wait between sends (0 to 1440 minutes), warmup daily limit (1 to 500), timezone, from name, signature and reply-to address.

Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026

09

Hosted mailboxes sit outside the slot count

A hosted OneMail mailbox never uses a plan mailbox slot and has no cap in the pricing data, because it is billed per unit. On the Agency plan one costs $0.99 a month.

How Woodpecker does it

Woodpecker, in detail.

Email accounts are listed as unlimited and free in the base price, with paid add-ons for addresses and domains bought through Woodpecker. The help centre shows 25 article titles on connecting, bulk adding and troubleshooting.

01

Unlimited email accounts

The base price lists 'Email accounts: Unlimited', with $20 struck through and shown as FREE. Inbox rotation sends from several accounts, and the features page says connected accounts are free to use because the price is not per email slot.

02

Connection guides

The help centre lists guides for Gmail and Google Workspace, Microsoft and Outlook, Zoho, OVH, GoDaddy, IONOS, DreamHost, a custom account, Amazon SES, SendGrid and Mailgun, and a guide on bulk adding mailboxes. Titles only; we did not read the articles.

03

Addresses and domains as add-ons

Add-ons list email addresses at $6 each (Google or Microsoft, 0 to 200) or $4 each (Maildoso, Mailforge, Infraforge or Azure, 0 to 200), new domains at about $1 each billed annually, and domain transfer at $1 each.

04

CSV upload and its limits

The features page says email accounts can be uploaded in batches of up to 200 from a CSV file. The help article adds that one file must be below 200 KB, that a campaign can take up to 1,000 mailboxes added from a CSV, and that you can start a new batch while others process.

05

Any provider through SMTP

The features page says you can connect an email from any provider to Woodpecker through SMTP, naming Google, Office 365, Zoho and SendGrid.

woodpecker.co/features · read 22 October 2026

06

CSV fields for bulk adding

The bulk CSV needs SMTP email, login, password, server, port and from name, plus IMAP email, password, server and port. Signature, BCC address, tracking domains, sending frequency and daily limit are optional. Results show under an Added tab, and failures list under Pending with the connection problem for each.

Troubleshooting titles

The collection lists connection error articles including 'I can't connect my mailbox', 'Conditional Email Configuration' and 'How to safely reconnect the Email Account', plus articles on receiving replies at a different address and setting an alias. Titles only.

What Woodpecker does not say

We looked, and found no statement on these. That is about its published pages only, not about the product.

  • Any cap on connected accounts, or a fair use rule for them
  • Whether warm-up, sending limits or deliverability checks differ by provider
  • How many accounts a single campaign can rotate through beyond the 1,000 from a CSV
  • Whether unlimited accounts are subject to a fair use rule in the terms of service, which we did not read
  • The permitted values for daily limits in the bulk CSV

Where the sources disagree

We report each version rather than pick one.

  • The Warmerly sign-in wording on Google changed on 15 September 2026: new Gmail and Google Workspace mailboxes connect with an app password, not Google sign-in. Older mailboxes connected by Google sign-in keep working.

In practice

What it means for you.

Our reading of the facts above. Not a promise, and not the only reasonable reading.

1

Many accounts, one price

If you rotate through many email accounts and want no per-account line, Woodpecker's unlimited accounts are an advantage. Warmerly's plans are priced for a set number.

2

Hosted addresses

Both tools sell hosted addresses. Warmerly's cost less on a higher plan; Woodpecker's are $4 to $6 whatever you pick. We did not compare the products behind them.

3

Moving 30 mailboxes in

On Woodpecker, 30 accounts fit in one CSV of up to 200 and the connection itself is free of charge on the pricing page. On Warmerly, 30 mailboxes is above Growth's 25, so Agency at $179 a month for 100 is the fit. Connecting is one by one in the app, or by API on Agency.

4

A team adding mailboxes together

Woodpecker's Pending tab shows what every user has requested, which helps a team that adds accounts in parallel. We did not find an equivalent view described for Warmerly.

5

Setting a sensible daily limit

Warmerly defaults a mailbox to 30 campaign sends a day and lets you set 0 to 1000. Woodpecker's help article advises staying at or under 100 a day. Neither number is a promise about your results; both depend on the provider and the age of the mailbox.

6

Choosing between hosted and your own

Ten hosted mailboxes on Warmerly's Growth plan would be 10 times $1.99, which is $19.90 a month, and on Agency 10 times $0.99, which is $9.90. On Woodpecker, ten addresses are $60 a month for Google or Microsoft, or $40 a month for Maildoso, Mailforge, Infraforge or Azure. We did not compare the products behind these prices.

  • You use Microsoft 365 and want a browser sign-in as well as SMTP
Woodpecker

Woodpecker is the better fit if

  • You want to connect many email accounts with no cap on the pricing page
  • You want to buy domains and addresses from the same tool
