Authentication and blocklist monitoring
One row, in depth: what each tool does, the verified numbers, and who each suits.
Mystrika details read from Internet Archive copies of its own pages (home page 11 October 2026, product and use-case pages 10 July 2026, help centre and tools pages from 2024 to 2026), because mystrika.com refused automated reads on 22 October 2026.

Authentication and blocklist monitoring, in one look.
Warmerly checks SPF, DKIM, DMARC and MX on every active mailbox every 6 hours, writes a fix for each finding, and queries 6 domain and 10 IP blocklists on the same 6-hour rhythm. Mystrika publishes free pages for an email health test, a blacklist check, header analysis and a credential test that you run by hand, lists daily deliverability status on every plan, and says in a 2024 help page that it switches warmup off when a bounce shows an SPF, DKIM or DMARC failure. We found no check schedule on its pages. Last checked 22 October 2026.

Drawn side by side.
One day, hour by hour
Warmerly reads your DNS on a 6-hour sweep. Mystrika offers pages you run when you choose to.
Pick an hour.
Pick an hour.
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
| Warmerly | Reads SPF, DKIM, DMARC and MX every 6 hours, 4 sweeps a day, and queries 6 domain and 10 IP blocklists. |
| Mystrika | Offers an Email Health Test, a blacklist checker, header analysis and a credential test as free pages you run, and lists a daily deliverability status on every plan. No check schedule is stated. |
Move the sliders. A highlighted cell is a moment a check reads your records. Mystrika's cells are empty because its pages state no automatic schedule, which is not proof there is none. The lane shows only the check you place.
What it looks like.

Warmerly, in detail.
Warmerly treats authentication as a standing check, not a tool you open. A sweep reads the four records on every mailbox that is not dead or paused every 6 hours, turns what it finds into a written finding with a fix, and a separate sweep queries the blocklists on the same schedule. Domain reports from mailbox providers are a free extra.
More than whether the record exists
SPF is read for its ending, for broken terms and for the limit of 10 DNS lookups. DKIM is read for key length and for the t=y test flag, and an RSA key of 1024 bits or shorter is flagged as weak. DMARC is read for p=, sp=, pct= and rua=. MX is checked for presence. Together that is 18 distinct findings, from spf_missing to mx_missing.

Fail, warn and info are kept apart
Only a fail finding can turn a domain's verdict red. A domain that works but publishes p=none gets a softer warning, so the colour that means act now is not worn out by advice. The code comment gives the reason: a working domain painted as broken trains people to ignore the one colour that should matter.

Every 6 hours, on every live mailbox
The DNS sweep runs on a 6-hour interval, which is 4 sweeps a day, across every mailbox that is not dead or paused. The mailbox's Health tab also has a Re-check now option, so you do not have to wait for the next sweep after you edit a record.

A finding says what to change
Each finding carries a short title, a plain explanation of why it matters and a fix. Where Warmerly can work the value out, the card shows the record to paste. Because the fix sits next to the finding, a check that fails at 03:00 can be repaired in one sitting rather than researched first.

6 domain and 10 IP blocklists, read carefully
The domain registry holds 6 zones and the IP registry holds 10, so 16 in all. The blocklist sweep also runs every 6 hours. Each zone classifies its own answer codes, and anything it does not recognise is recorded as an error, never as a listing, because several zones answer a refused query from inside the same 127.x range they use for real listings. A listing that only says an IP range is not meant for mail, such as a Spamhaus PBL entry, is kept apart from a listing that says you were reported.

Zones left out on purpose
The registry names three it does not use. SORBS shut down in June 2024. UCEPROTECT is pay-to-delist, so acting on a listing there would mean telling a customer to pay. Invaluement is subscription only and answers an unregistered resolver with a refusal rather than a verdict. The list is short by design, and Warmerly does not claim a count of the blocklists that exist.

Free DMARC report monitoring
A workspace can point its DMARC rua address at a per-domain reports address and read who sends as the domain and whether it passes. It covers up to 10 domains per workspace. A job reads the report mailbox every 30 minutes, keeps reports for 90 days and caps decompressed report output at 10 MB, because anyone can mail that address.

Twelve free checkers, outside the app
The free tools hub lists 12 tools, among them SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MX and BIMI checkers, SPF and DMARC generators, an email blacklist checker, a spam word checker and a deliverability checker. They work without an account.

Where Warmerly is behind
Warmerly has no standalone email header analyser, no IMAP and SMTP credential tester and no Microsoft reseller check among its free tools. Its alert webhooks, which include auth_fail and dns_changed, are part of the 16 mailbox health events and are available on the Agency plan only.

Mystrika, in detail.
Mystrika's authentication story is a set of free pages you run yourself, a daily deliverability status on every plan, and, on the older help pages, automatic action against mailboxes that bounce. It publishes no schedule for DNS checks and no list of the blocklists it queries.
An Email Health Test you run by hand
A free page checks a domain's email configuration, with SPF, DKIM, DMARC and other standards named on it. You enter a domain or an address and tick a box confirming you own it. A DKIM selector is optional: if you give none, the page says it checks common selectors.

A blacklist checker for one server IP
A second page checks an email server's status across what it calls multiple blacklists. You enter the server IP. The page names no number of lists and says nothing about how often anything runs, because it is a form you submit.

Header analysis and a credential test
A header analysis page tells you how to copy headers from Gmail, Outlook or Apple Mail and reads SPF, DKIM and DMARC results from them. A credential test page checks IMAP or SMTP settings for a host, port and encryption choice. Both are free pages with sign-up prompts around them.

A Microsoft reseller check
A reseller check page says it helps you confirm that Microsoft domains are properly configured and not part of a reseller network that could affect deliverability. It is a form with a short description. We found no detail on what it tests.

Daily deliverability status on every plan
The plan lists on the home page include Daily deliverability status, with a tooltip that reads Email Reputation Monitoring. It sits on the Free Forever plan and every paid plan. The page does not say what the status is made of or how it is drawn.

Alerts and monitoring claims
The home page says Mystrika sends alerts when deliverability starts to slip, offers real-time reputation monitoring and lets AI agents monitor deliverability through MCP. A 2024 lifetime-deal page lists blacklist monitoring and notification and bounce detection with automatic action. None of these pages names the checks behind the words.

Warmup is switched off for authentication failures
A help page from February 2024 says that if Mystrika receives a bounce caused by missing or invalid SPF, DKIM or DMARC, it disables the mailbox's warmup. It says the same for a blocklisted domain, IP or provider network, and it points owners to a third-party tool, mxtoolbox, when the bounce does not name the list. It also says that getting delisted is up to the owner.

Which records are the owner's job
The same 2024 page says every provider has its own records, so it is up to the customer to ask their provider for the right SPF, DKIM and DMARC values. It describes monitoring that reacts to bounces rather than a check that reads DNS in advance.

What Mystrika does not say
We looked, and found no statement on these. That is about its published pages only, not about the product.
- How often any DNS check runs, if it runs without you pressing a button
- Whether the daily deliverability status includes SPF, DKIM, DMARC or MX results
- How many blacklists the checker queries, or which ones
- A written fix or a record to paste for each finding
- Whether a failed record raises an alert before a bounce does
- Free DMARC aggregate report monitoring
- Whether the 2024 blacklist and bounce rules still apply in 2026
- Any limit on how many times the free tools can be used
Where the sources disagree
We report each version rather than pick one.
- Mystrika's 2024 help page says a bounce for failed SPF, DKIM or DMARC switches warmup off, while its 2026 pages describe unlimited warmup and monitoring in general terms and do not repeat the rule. We report both and do not know which applies today.
- Mystrika's tool pages from April and May 2026 show a 14-day free trial button, while its home page of October 2026 lists a Free Forever plan with no card. We report both.
Only what we could verify.

What it means for you.
Our reading of the facts above. Not a promise, and not the only reasonable reading.
Try both on the same domain
Run Mystrika's Email Health Test on a domain, then connect a mailbox on that domain to Warmerly and open its Health tab. Compare what each says about DMARC. A domain with p=none gets a warning in Warmerly, not a red mark, so two tools can show different colours for the same record and both be right.
Decide whether you want a tool or a sweep
A page you run by hand tells you the state of a domain at the moment you press the button. A sweep tells you the state every 6 hours without you. If one person looks after many domains, the sweep removes a task. If you only own one or two domains, a manual page may be enough.
Read a bounce before you blame the tool
Mystrika's 2024 help page tells owners to download the bounce message to see why warmup was disabled. The bounce text names the cause: a missing Spam folder, a failed record, a blocklist or a provider rate limit. That habit helps with any tool.
A fast check you can do yourself
In a terminal, a TXT lookup on the domain shows the SPF record, and a lookup on _dmarc followed by the domain shows the DMARC policy. A DKIM record needs its selector, which your mail provider tells you. If you do not know the selector, the Warmerly Health tab and Mystrika's health test both try to work it out for you.
Running both side by side
Warmerly's monitoring reads DNS and the blocklists, so it does not need to send campaigns. You can keep sending from Mystrika and use Warmerly only for the checks. Turn Mystrika's warmup off on a mailbox before Warmerly starts warming it, so two warmup tools do not write to one inbox.
Blocklist listings need a human
Neither product delists you. Mystrika's 2024 page says getting delisted is up to the owner or the provider. Warmerly records the listing and keeps policy listings apart from abuse listings, so you can tell which one you are dealing with.
Pick the one that fits.
Warmerly is the better fit if
- You want SPF, DKIM, DMARC and MX read every 6 hours without pressing a button
- You want each finding explained, with the record to paste where possible
- You want DMARC aggregate reports read for you, free, for up to 10 domains
- You want a record of blocklist results that separates policy listings from abuse listings
Mystrika is the better fit if
- You want a free header analyser and an IMAP and SMTP credential tester next to your sender
- You want a daily deliverability status on the Free Forever plan too
- You like having a standalone Microsoft reseller check
- You are happy to run checks by hand and rely on bounce handling
Does Mystrika monitor SPF, DKIM and DMARC automatically?
We could not confirm it. Its pages offer a free health test that checks SPF, DKIM, DMARC and other standards when you run it, and list a daily deliverability status on every plan. A 2024 help page says a bounce caused by a missing or invalid record switches warmup off. No page we read gives a schedule for automatic DNS checks (Internet Archive copies read 22 October 2026).
How many blocklists does Warmerly check?
6 domain blocklists and 10 IP blocklists, 16 in all, on a 6-hour sweep. A zone that refuses a query is recorded as an error, never as a listing.
Does Warmerly read DMARC reports?
Yes, free, for up to 10 domains per workspace. You point your DMARC rua address at the reports address Warmerly gives you and the reports are read every 30 minutes and kept for 90 days.
Is the Mystrika blacklist checker free?
The page we read is a free form that checks a server IP across what it calls multiple blacklists, with prompts to start a trial around it. It names no count of lists.
