- 1 AI credit a message
- 280 and 700 characters

Warmerly stores the preview it shows and sends that text. Linked Helper queues AI messages as drafts for approval by default.
Warmerly, in detail.
Words only. A short list of merge tags, a per-lead AI opener for email, and an AI-written LinkedIn message stored and shown before it is sent.
Eight built-in merge tags
A campaign template can use email, firstName, lastName, companyName, senderFirstName, senderLastName, senderName and senderEmail, plus any custom field a lead carries. An unknown tag resolves to an empty string so a bad template never blocks a send, but the pre-launch check names it and stops the launch.

An AI opener for email
The ai_opener tag is generated for each lead at send time from research on the lead's website. It needs a campaign brief: a step that uses it with no brief is a blocking pre-launch error. Leads with no website summary are flagged as a warning when more than 20 per cent of queued leads lack one.

A LinkedIn message written for one person
Switch on Personalise with AI on a LinkedIn step and each connection note or message is written from that prospect's real profile (about, industry, experience, skills, up to 3 recent posts) and the campaign brief. It is off by default, and costs 1 AI credit each, refunded when the output is not used.

What you approved is what is sent
A preview for a real lead is stored, and the engine sends that stored text for that lead and step. The model may only use facts in the profile, links are limited to the campaign's own booking and offer links, and a failed check means the text is not used. The model gets 3 attempts before the step falls back to your own template.
Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026
Length limits
AI text is limited to 280 characters for a connection note and 700 characters for a message.

Text only on LinkedIn
The LinkedIn send call takes an account, a recipient and a text string. We found no code that sends an image, GIF, video or file on LinkedIn, and no per-lead image builder for email either.

Where Warmerly is behind
No conditional text, no spintax, no per-lead images and no AI check that sorts leads against an ideal customer description before outreach. If a personalised picture in the first message is the point, Warmerly has no equivalent today.

Linked Helper, in detail.
A personalisation suite with variables, conditions, spintax and templates, a separate AI layer for messages and lead qualification, and images through a third party.
Variables
Standard profile fields include first name, company, position, industry and mutual connections. Custom template variables add your own fields, such as translated names, event details or tracking links. The page does not show the syntax.

IF-THEN-ELSE
Each condition shows one fragment when a variable is available and a fallback when it is not. It works with company, position, industry and mutual-connection data.
linkedhelper.com/features/personalization-suite · read 21 October 2026
Spintax
Spintax rotates selected words and phrases so messages vary while the core wording stays the same. The page does not show the spintax syntax.

AI messages and drafts
AI Messages writes a one-to-one icebreaker from profile data. By default every AI message goes to an AI Drafts queue where you review, edit, regenerate and approve it. An optional Auto-approve toggle skips the review.
linkedhelper.com/features/ai-messages · read 21 October 2026
AI limits by campaign
The suite page says up to seven AI messaging actions per campaign, up to six AI follow-ups after a personalised invite and up to seven after a non-personalised one. Free LinkedIn accounts can send up to five personalised invite messages a month.

Credits
Variables, spintax, templates and conditional logic do not use AI credits. Credits are used only when an AI operation succeeds. Standard includes 250 AI credits and Pro 500 on the base term, and the page does not say how many credits one message uses.

Personalised images
A Hyperise integration personalises static images with a prospect's name, company or role, attached through a plug-in. Unlimited messages with images appear only in the Pro plan list, and Hyperise pricing is not stated.

AI ICP Detection
A campaign step checks each profile against a plain-language description of your ideal customer. Profiles that meet your chosen match level go to a Success list and continue. Others go to a Failed list and receive no outreach. The page says it estimates fit, and does not say how the score is calculated.

What Linked Helper does not say
We looked, and found no statement on these. That is about its published pages only, not about the product.
- Variable and spintax syntax
- How many AI credits one message or ICP check uses
- Which languages the AI writes in
- How ICP match scores are calculated or whether a reason is shown for a Failed result
- Whether a person can override a Failed ICP result
Where the sources disagree
We report each version rather than pick one.
- Linked Helper's AI Messages page says connection notes cannot use recent posts in one FAQ and lists Recent Posts as an input in another.
- Its AI credit figures for Standard range from 250 to 1,500 depending on the page and term.
Only what we could verify.

What it means for you.
Our reading of the facts above. Not a promise, and not the only reasonable reading.
Linked Helper gives you more levers
Conditions, spintax and images let a sequence vary a lot. Whether more variation helps your replies is something only your own results will show.
Warmerly's AI is stricter on facts
It may only use facts in the prospect's profile, limits links to your own, and stores the preview it sends. If you worry about an AI saying something untrue, that design is aimed at it.
Review is the human step
Linked Helper's drafts wait for approval by default. Warmerly shows a preview. In both, someone should read the messages before a campaign goes out.
Check the AI credit maths yourself
Warmerly's message costs 1 credit and Starter includes 100, so 100 messages a month. Linked Helper does not say what a message costs, so test it in the trial.
Personalisation is not a substitute for relevance
A tag that inserts a company name is not research. Both tools can send a message that is personalised and still not worth reading.
Pick the one that fits.
Warmerly is the better fit if
- You want an AI opener or LinkedIn message written from a real profile, with the preview you saw sent as is
- You want AI limited to facts in the profile and your own links
- Text personalisation is enough for your campaigns
Linked Helper is the better fit if
- You want conditional text, spintax and personalised images
- You want an AI check that sorts leads against your ideal customer before outreach
- You want an approval queue for every AI message
Does Linked Helper need a ChatGPT key for AI messages?
No. Its pricing page says the AI engine is built in, with no ChatGPT subscription or API key needed.
Can Warmerly put a prospect's name in a picture?
No. We found no per-lead image, GIF or video in Warmerly. Linked Helper does it through Hyperise, a third-party service, on its Pro plan without a cap.
Which recent posts does the AI use?
Warmerly's LinkedIn AI uses up to 3 recent posts from the profile. Linked Helper's pages disagree: one FAQ says personalisation is based on profile information and another lists Recent Posts as an input.
Is every AI message reviewed before sending?
On Linked Helper by default, in an AI Drafts queue, unless you turn on Auto-approve. On Warmerly each LinkedIn message is stored from a preview, and AI is off unless you switch it on.
