What WhatsApp is for today
The campaign engine and pacing rules are built, but campaigns cannot yet be launched with a WhatsApp step and a number cannot be assigned to a campaign. A connected number is used for the inbox: replies and one-to-one messages.

Why there is no WhatsApp warmup
The docs say WhatsApp has no reputation score to warm. Meta acts on behaviour such as how new a number is and how fast it sends, so Warmerly paces sending instead, with an automatic ramp, send window and spacing for campaign messages.

Manual replies are not gated
A reply typed in the inbox sends straight away. The ramp and send window apply to campaign messages only.

What SmartReach does not say
We looked, and found no statement on these. That is about its published pages only, not about the product.
- A WhatsApp inbox
- Automated WhatsApp sending
- Which countries calls are available in beyond rate examples for the UK and USA
- A WhatsApp inbox or automatic WhatsApp sending
- Countries where calling is available beyond the UK and USA examples
- Whether calling credits are included in any plan
Where the sources disagree
We report each version rather than pick one.
- Its home page says calling and LinkedIn seats are built in, and its pricing page also sells calling seats as an add-on at $19 a month per phone number.
Only what we could verify.

What it means for you.
Our reading of the facts above. Not a promise, and not the only reasonable reading.
If you call prospects, this settles it
Warmerly does not do calls. If calling is part of your cadence, SmartReach covers it in one tool.
WhatsApp differs in kind
Warmerly links a number and sends from the inbox, with pacing. SmartReach turns WhatsApp into steps that a person completes by hand.
A call-led team of three
Sales Engagement Plus has 3 calling seats at $99 a month, and the calls themselves are paid from credits. At $0.040 a minute, 10 hours of calls a month is 600 minutes, or $24 (600 times 0.04). Warmerly has no calling, so you would need a separate dialer.
An email-led team that answers on WhatsApp
If prospects reply on WhatsApp, Warmerly can link your number by QR code and show those conversations beside email. SmartReach would treat the same step as a task for a person to do.
Staying inside WhatsApp's limits
Warmerly's pacing means a connected number's campaign volume is held back automatically once campaigns are launchable. Today there is no campaign sending to pace.
