What it looks like.

Warmerly, in detail.
Every six hours, per mailbox, with a written fix.
Checked every six hours
The records sweep runs every six hours, so four times in 24 hours, across every mailbox that is not dead or paused. A Re-check now option is on the mailbox Health tab.

A written fix for each finding
Each finding has a title, an explanation and a fix. SPF is checked for the 10-lookup limit, DKIM for key length and test mode, DMARC for policy and reporting address.
Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026
Domain and IP blocklists
Domains and sending IPs are looked up against published blocklist zones, such as Spamhaus, and a listing raises an alert.

Unknown is never green
A check that could not run is shown as unknown, not as fine.

SPF is counted through its includes
The 10 lookup budget is counted recursively through include and redirect, and an IPv6 address after ip4 is flagged as an invalid term.
Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026
DKIM keys are read for length and test mode
The key length is read from the p tag, and the t=y test flag is reported. A lookup that errors gets one retry before it is called an error.

Sixteen blocklist zones
Six domain zones (Spamhaus DBL, SURBL, URIBL, NordSpam DBL, Spam Eating Monkey URI and s5h) and ten IP zones (Spamhaus ZEN, SpamCop, Barracuda, PSBL, Mailspike, NordSpam, Spam Eating Monkey, Lashback UBL, DroneBL and GBUdb Truncate).

Three zones are left out on purpose
SORBS, which shut down in 2024, UCEPROTECT, which charges to delist, and Invaluement, which needs a subscription, are not queried.

The record to publish
Under a failing SPF or DMARC chip the card shows the exact record to add. SPF is suggested only for Google and Microsoft mailboxes and merged into the record already published.

A refusal is not a listing
A blocklist answer meaning your query was refused is never shown as a listing, so a rate limit cannot make every customer look blocklisted.

A guide to the SPF lookup limit
A help article quotes the 10 term limit in RFC 7208 and says a permerror counts as a DMARC fail. It suggests removing unnecessary includes, replacing includes with ip4 or ip6, removing ptr, and flattening only as a last resort. Its worked example falls from 12 lookups to 8.

What GlockApps does not say
We looked, and found no statement on these. That is about its published pages only, not about the product.
- Whether the two-hour check gives a written fix for each finding
- The number of blocklists the uptime monitor checks
- Whether a failing record comes with the exact record to publish
- Which DKIM selectors the monitor checks
- How many records a monitor checks in each run
Where the sources disagree
We report each version rather than pick one.
- Its home page and Inbox Insight list 50+ blocklists, while its Gappie page says an IP is checked against more than 30. They may describe different tools.
Only what we could verify.

What it means for you.
Our reading of the facts above. Not a promise, and not the only reasonable reading.
Both catch a broken record the same day
Two hours or six, a record change is found within the day on either.
Warmerly explains the fix
Each Warmerly finding states the record to add. We did not read whether GlockApps does.
Sixteen zones against more than fifty
GlockApps names a larger blocklist set. Warmerly's 16 zones are the ones it can query by plain DNS without a key, and it leaves out three on purpose. A listing on a zone neither tool checks would go unseen by both.
Four checks a day against twelve
Every six hours is 24 divided by 6, or 4 checks a day. Every two hours is 12. For a record that rarely changes the gap matters little, but after you edit DNS you wait up to 6 hours to see Warmerly's result unless you press Re-check now.
Fixing an SPF permerror
A record at 12 lookups against a limit of 10 is the case GlockApps' own article uses. Warmerly flags the same 10 lookup budget and counts through includes, so the finding names the problem before DMARC treats it as a fail.
Pick the one that fits.
Warmerly is the better fit if
- You want the fix written beside each finding
- You want record checks per mailbox inside the warmup tool
- Six-hourly checks are enough
- You want each finding to come with the record to add
- You want the check on the mailbox's own Health tab
- You want a refused query never shown as a listing
GlockApps is the better fit if
- You want checks every two hours
- You want free MX, TXT and BIMI checkers
- You want 50+ blocklists checked
- You want records checked every two hours
- You want a command-line style check from Telegram or Slack
- You want free checkers for TXT and BIMI records
How often does GlockApps check SPF, DKIM and DMARC?

Does Warmerly check MTA-STS or TLS?
No. It checks SPF, DKIM, DMARC and MX, plus domain and IP blocklists.
How many blocklists does GlockApps check?
Its pages say 50+ in most places and more than 30 for the Gappie bot (read 22 October 2026). We could not reconcile the two.
