Health score and readiness

One row, in depth: what each tool does, the verified numbers, and who each suits.

TrulyInbox details read from its pricing page, home, features, how-it-works, network, why-trulyinbox and agencies pages, V2 blog post, refund policy, terms, privacy policy, API docs and help centre on 21 October 2026.

Warmerly

A 0 to 100 score once a day from the last 7 days of warmup mail; a mailbox is paused after two scores in a row under 60.

TrulyInbox

A 0 to 100 Warmup Score from the last 15 active days, with Ready for Outreach at 90 to 100.

The short answer

Health score and readiness, in one look.

Both give a 0 to 100 score built from warmup mail, and neither measures where your real campaign mail lands. Warmerly's is a daily snapshot over the last 7 days, weighted 50% inbox, 20% bounces, 15% replies and 15% delivery. TrulyInbox's Warmup Score uses the last 15 active days, 60% deliverability and 40% setup, less a bounce penalty, and it names a Ready for Outreach band at 90 and above. Last checked 21 October 2026.

How Warmerly does it

Warmerly, in detail.

One score a day per mailbox, from a rolling week of warmup mail, with a status badge and automatic actions when it falls.

01

How the score is worked out

A weighted sum: 50% inbox rate, 20% for the share of sends that did not bounce, 15% reply rate and 15% for the share of sends that reached a finished state. Reply rate counts in full once replies reach 40% of sends. The result is a whole number from 0 to 100.

02

One snapshot a day, over seven days

Each snapshot reads the mailbox's warmup jobs from the previous seven days and is stored once per mailbox per date. The scoring job runs in the 02:00 UTC hour, and the 7, 30 and 90 day charts draw from these daily snapshots.

Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026

03

It will not score what it has not seen

A snapshot is only written when at least one email was sent and one outcome was classified. A mailbox with 10 or more finished warmup emails and none classified raises a delivery-unobservable alert instead of a score.

04

Status badges

Healthy means connected with a score of 70 or above. Warming covers the first two weeks or no score yet, and a low score in the first 14 days is expected. Needs attention or At risk means below 70 after the first two weeks.

Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026

05

What a drop triggers

A fall of 15 points raises an alert, and a score under 50 raises another, each with a 24-hour cooldown. If the two latest snapshots are both under 60, an active mailbox is paused automatically, and the pause lifts after a three-day cooldown.

06

Known limits

The score reads warmup mail between pool mailboxes, not your campaigns. The promotions folder is in the formula but has never been recorded, because Gmail's category tabs are not IMAP folders. Only recipient-side rejections count as bounces.

How TrulyInbox does it

TrulyInbox, in detail.

Three scores, a published formula and bands, and a V2 reputation score on a similar window, with placement testing promised for later.

05

A history and a gauge

The features page lists a 90-day deliverability history with daily, weekly and monthly views, a gauge, scores by provider and exports of charts and reports. The Deliverability Score updates daily on Starter and above; exports and provider analytics are Growth and above.

V2 reputation score and Ready status

The V2 post adds a reputation score out of 100 from the last 15 days, a 30-day chart in five bands from Critical to Excellent, and a Ready status when warmup is complete, 15-day deliverability is 90% or higher and there are no DNS problems or suspensions.

What TrulyInbox does not say

We looked, and found no statement on these. That is about its published pages only, not about the product.

  • How inbox and spam placement are converted into the points in the Deliverability part of the score
  • Whether the bounce penalty is subtracted as points or as a percentage, or whether the score is floored at 0
  • Which of the two day orders is meant by days 1 to 5: oldest first is implied, but not stated
  • A date for inbox placement testing beyond mid to late November

Where the sources disagree

We report each version rather than pick one.

  • The V2 post describes the reputation score as using 15 days, while its FAQ says it is recalculated daily from recent results, domain setup and bounces without naming the window. We use 15 days from the post.
  • The help articles call the same number the Outreach Readiness score and the Warmup Score, and the score-explained article's introduction names bounce performance as an input that it never defines.

In practice

What it means for you.

Our reading of the facts above. Not a promise, and not the only reasonable reading.

1

Do not compare 70 with 90

Warmerly calls a mailbox Healthy at 70 and TrulyInbox calls it Ready for Outreach at 90. The scales are built from different parts, so the same mailbox will not score the same on both.

2

DNS sits inside one score and beside the other

TrulyInbox puts 40% of its Warmup Score on setup, so a missing DMARC record lowers your readiness. Warmerly scores warmup mail alone and shows DNS checks on a separate card, so a mailbox can be Healthy with a failing record.

3

Recent days move TrulyInbox's score more

Half of its deliverability weighting sits on the latest 5 of 15 days, so one bad week shows quickly. Warmerly's 7-day window changes quickly too, but weights every day in it equally by its formula.

4

Neither score is a campaign result

Both look at warmup traffic. TrulyInbox's own article calls its scores indicators, not verdicts. Warmerly's docs say its score is not a promise about cold email and point to a placement test.

5

Check how each acts on a bad score

Warmerly pauses a mailbox after two scores in a row under 60 and lifts it after a cooldown. TrulyInbox tells you to pause outreach and warm up for 1 to 2 weeks, and leaves it to you.

Warmerly

Warmerly is the better fit if

  • You want a score that acts for you, with alerts and an automatic pause
  • You want to see the weights without a worked example to decode
  • You prefer DNS problems shown on their own card with a written fix
  • You want the limits of the score stated, including what it cannot measure
TrulyInbox

TrulyInbox is the better fit if

  • You want one readiness band that combines warmup and setup
  • You want a plain Ready for Outreach line at 90 to send against
  • You want a published formula with day weights
  • You want a 90-day history and provider-level breakdowns
Questions
How does TrulyInbox calculate its score?

Warmup Score = Deliverability x 60% + Setup Score x 40% - the 3-day average bounce rate. Deliverability uses the last 15 active days, weighted 20%, 30% and 50% across three blocks of 5 days.

What does Ready for Outreach mean at TrulyInbox?

A score of 90 to 100. Warming Up is 50 to 89 and Needs Recovery is 0 to 49. Its help says it is an indicator, not a verdict.

How does Warmerly calculate its health score?

50% inbox rate, 20% bounce-free sends, 15% reply rate and 15% delivery, from the last 7 days of warmup mail, once a day. It is shown on a mailbox's page with a badge.

Can a high score guarantee placement?

No. TrulyInbox's help says a high Setup Score does not guarantee inbox placement, and Warmerly says its score is not a promise about cold email.
