What Folderly does not say

We looked, and found no statement on these. That is about its published pages only, not about the product.

  • A monthly-billing price for the core product
  • The minimum commitment
  • The currency, which is shown only as a dollar sign
  • The terms of the new-registration pricing
  • Which features each price includes
  • A cap on mailboxes, sends or domains per account
  • Tax or VAT treatment for a buyer outside the United States
  • A paid Pulse plan
  • How long the new-registration pricing lasts

Where the sources disagree

We report each version rather than pick one.

  • Pricing page against its terms: the pricing page labels the $96 rate as Yearly, while its terms of service say standard subscriptions are billed monthly, upfront. We read the pricing page's label as the price it shows and do not know which billing the $96 follows.
  • The overview page shows Save up to figures of $2,600, $5,200 and $16,600 without saying how they are worked out. We do not use them.
  • Pricing page against the Inbox Insights page: the pricing page says Save 15% on $799, while the arithmetic against $79 x 12 = $948 gives $149, which the Inbox Insights page also shows. We quote the dollar saving and do not restate a percentage.

In practice

What it means for you.

Our reading of the facts above. Not a promise, and not the only reasonable reading.

1

Ask what the minimum commitment is

Folderly's pages say one applies and do not say what it is. Get the figure in writing before you compare totals.

2

Compare what the price includes

Folderly's price sits in a suite of placement, content and alert tools. Warmerly's includes warmup and campaigns, and has a limited-accuracy placement test.

3

Buying both Folderly tools

If you buy the core product for 5 mailboxes ($480) and Inbox Insights monthly ($79), the total is $559 a month. The overview lists an email placement report as a feature, so ask whether the second purchase is needed.
