SPF, DKIM, DMARC and blocklist checks, in one look.
Warmerly checks SPF, DKIM, DMARC and MX for every connected mailbox every 6 hours, writes each failure with a fix, and checks 6 domain and 10 IP blocklists. Apollo shows a Good or Fix status for each domain's SPF, DKIM and DMARC, offers an Authorize button that edits DNS at supported providers, and runs blocklist checks against over fifty databases when you ask. Apollo is ahead on the one-click fix and on the number of blocklists; the pages we read give no schedule for its checks. Last checked 22 October 2026.

What it looks like.

Warmerly, in detail.
A sweep every 6 hours across every mailbox, with the exact finding and fix, and alerts only for real failures.
Every 6 hours, or on demand
The records sweep runs every 6 hours by default across every mailbox that is not dead or paused. The Health tab has a Re-check now option.

More than does the record exist
SPF is checked for its ending, for the limit of 10 DNS lookups and for broken terms. DKIM is checked for key length (1024 bits or shorter is flagged) and the t=y test flag. DMARC is checked for p=, sp=, pct= and whether rua= is set. MX is checked for presence.

A written finding with a fix
Each finding has a title, an explanation and a fix. Under a failing SPF or DMARC chip the card can show the record itself with a copy button.

6 domain and 10 IP blocklists
Warmerly queries 6 domain lists and 10 IP lists by plain DNS lookup. A refused query is never reported as a listing.
Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026
Alerts only for real failures
A hard failure raises an alert with a 24-hour cooldown. A check that could not run shows as unknown, never green.
Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026
18 written findings
The checker can raise 18 distinct findings: 9 for SPF (missing, invalid term, multiple records, allows everyone, neutral, softfail, no all term, too many lookups, near the lookup limit), 3 for DKIM (missing, test mode, weak key), 5 for DMARC (missing, monitor only, no policy, partial pct, no reporting) and 1 for MX.

Hosted domains are published for you
For a OneMail domain you buy, or connect by nameservers, Warmerly publishes the MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC records itself. On the manual route it lists them, adds a bounce MX and SPF record and an optional tracking CNAME, and rechecks about every minute until they resolve.

Where Warmerly is behind
Warmerly does not edit your DNS for you on a mailbox you connect, and it checks 16 blocklists against the over fifty Apollo names. Its IP check also reads the mailbox's SMTP submission host, so large provider hosts are skipped, and reading the true outbound IP from Received headers is not built.

Apollo.io, in detail.
Apollo shows domain authentication status, can fix records at supported DNS providers, and runs blocklist checks on request.
A status for each mailbox's domain
Under Sequences, then Diagnostics, Apollo shows the status of each mailbox's domain SPF, DKIM and DMARC records as Good or Fix. The domains page shows how many domains have authenticated SPF, DKIM and DMARC.

The page says "SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configured automatically" only when you buy a domain through Apollo, and that blocklist monitoring raises an alert with guided steps.

Which plans list the tools
The Free card does not list the Deliverability Suite or Domain & Mailbox Purchasing. The Basic card ($49 per seat per month, billed annually), Professional ($79) and Organization ($119, minimum 3 seats) each list Deliverability Suite & Email Warmup and Domain & Mailbox Purchasing.

Credits sit behind some of it
The pricing FAQ says credits cover email warmup and domains and mailboxes among other things, are pooled across the team and expire at the end of each billing cycle. It does not say whether a blocklist check or a record fix uses credits.

What Apollo.io does not say
We looked, and found no statement on these. That is about its published pages only, not about the product.
- How often Apollo re-checks SPF, DKIM and DMARC on a domain you connect
- Whether MX is checked
- How often blocklists are checked unless you run them
- Which blocklists are included
- Whether a blocklist check or a record fix uses credits
- The split of the over fifty blocklists between domain and IP lists
Where the sources disagree
We report each version rather than pick one.
- Apollo's deliverability page says authentication is set up automatically only when you buy a domain through Apollo, while its help article describes fixing records on a domain you linked yourself. We report both.
- Apollo's pricing page FAQ names the plans Free, Basic, Professional and Custom, while the rendered price cards show Free, Basic, Professional and Organization ($119, minimum 3 seats). Both were read on 2026-10-22 and we cannot say which is current.
- Warmerly's own domain-health note lists the records sweep as every 6 minutes, while the scheduler code sets 6 hours (6 * 60 minutes) and the recheck guard is 6 hours. We use the code.
Only what we could verify.

What it means for you.
Our reading of the facts above. Not a promise, and not the only reasonable reading.
Warmerly watches, Apollo can also repair
If your DNS is at a provider Apollo supports, one click can fix a record. Warmerly tells you what is wrong and what to paste.
Breadth against schedule
Apollo names far more blocklists but runs them when asked. Warmerly checks fewer lists on a 6-hourly sweep.
What 6 hours means in a day
A 6-hour sweep is 24 / 6 = 4 record checks and 4 blocklist sweeps per mailbox per day. Apollo's pages give no interval, so there is no figure to set against it.
How many lists
Warmerly queries 6 + 10 = 16 lists. Apollo says over fifty, so at least 51, which is more than 3 times as many (51 / 16 is about 3.2). More lists means more places a listing can be found, though a listing on a small list matters less than one on a large one, and neither page ranks the lists.
Pick the one that fits.
Warmerly is the better fit if
- You want a regular schedule and a written fix on every mailbox
- You want alerts only for real failures
- You want to see how many blocklists answered, so a partial result is never shown as clean
Apollo.io is the better fit if
- You want DNS records fixed for you at a supported provider
- You want a wider blocklist check
- You want the AI Assistant to walk you through a send-blocking error
Does Apollo.io check SPF, DKIM and DMARC?
Yes. Its Diagnostics page shows Good or Fix for each domain's SPF, DKIM and DMARC, with an Authorize button for automatic fixes at supported providers.
How often does Warmerly check DNS?
Every 6 hours by default, or on demand from the mailbox's Health tab.
Does Warmerly fix my DNS records for me?
Not on a mailbox you connect. It shows the exact SPF or DMARC record to paste for Google and Microsoft mailboxes. For a OneMail domain bought through Warmerly or connected by nameservers, it publishes the records itself.
Does Apollo.io check DNS on a schedule?
The pages we read give no schedule for the SPF, DKIM and DMARC status, and blocklist checks run when you press Run check. The deliverability page also says blocklist monitoring raises alerts, without an interval.
Which Apollo plans have the deliverability tools?
The price cards list the Deliverability Suite on Basic, Professional and Organization. The pricing FAQ names the plans Free, Basic, Professional and Custom instead of Organization, so check the live plan before relying on it.
