Calls and call recording

One row, in depth: what each tool does, the verified numbers, and who each suits.

Apollo details read from its pricing page and FAQ, product pages and help centre on 21 October 2026.

The short answer

Calls and call recording, in one look.

Warmerly has no dialer and no call recording. Apollo has both: a US dialer on paid plans where credits apply, call recording of 150 minutes on Free and Basic, 4,000 on Professional and 8,000 on Organization, and an Advanced Dialer add-on at $119 per team a month on annual billing. If you make sales calls, this row is Apollo's. Warmerly's side of the work is email and LinkedIn, plus company phone numbers you can export and dial elsewhere. Last checked 22 October 2026.

How Warmerly does it

Warmerly, in detail.

Warmerly is an email and LinkedIn product and does not place calls. It can hand you a company's published phone number to call from another tool.

01

No dialer

We found no dialer, softphone or calling in the product code or docs, searched on 2026-10-22.

02

No call recording

There is no recording, transcription or call summary feature.

03

Phone numbers you can take elsewhere

Lead finder has a company signal called Has a phone number, a Phone bar in its coverage chart, and the phone number in each company's detail view and in the CSV export. These are numbers the company publishes, not direct dials for a named person. Warmerly does not dial them.

04

What it covers instead

Email campaigns, a reply inbox, and LinkedIn steps with a $19 a month add-on per account. A 3-account LinkedIn pack is $49 a month and a 5-account pack is $75.

05

One inbox for email and LinkedIn replies

Replies from LinkedIn arrive in the shared Inbox next to email conversations. A campaign can mix email and LinkedIn steps in one sequence.

06

Daily limits on the channels it has

LinkedIn connection requests are up to 10 a day on a normal account and 20 on Premium at full pace, with 50 messages a day. The budget starts lower and rises over roughly three weeks. These limits cannot be raised past the safe maximums.

07

WhatsApp is not a calling route either

The docs say WhatsApp steps cannot be launched yet. So the only live channels in a campaign are email and LinkedIn.

08

Where Warmerly is behind

Calls, recording, transcripts, AI call summaries, voicemail drops and call analytics are all Apollo features that Warmerly does not have. A team that calls will need a separate dialer next to Warmerly.

How Apollo.io does it

Apollo.io, in detail.

Calling is a built-in part of a paid seat, with recording minutes by plan and an add-on for more dialing modes.

01

A US dialer on paid plans

The pricing page lists US Dialer (credits apply) on Basic, Professional and Organization. The dialer page says the Dialer is included in Basic, Pro and Org plans and uses unified credits to place calls. The dialer help article says all paid accounts have access.

03

Call recording minutes

Free 150 minutes, Basic 150, Professional 4,000 and Organization 8,000. The Professional and Organization cards say Call Recordings and AI Insights. Recording can be configured in the dialer, with transcripts and AI call summaries. The pricing page does not say whether the minutes are per seat or per team.

04

Advanced Dialer add-on

International dialing, parallel dialing, power dialing and local presence come through an add-on at $119 per team a month on annual billing, $149 on monthly billing. The pricing page describes power dialing as single-line dialing with auto-advance, voicemail drop and instant call logging.

05

What the dialer page lists

AI call scripts researched for each prospect, automatic call logging, AI summaries pushed to a CRM, voicemail drops, sequence integration and analytics on connect rates, talk time, outcomes and rep performance. The page does not say which plans include each item.

What Apollo.io does not say

We looked, and found no statement on these. That is about its published pages only, not about the product.

  • Per-minute prices outside the credit rates
  • Which countries are supported without the add-on beyond the supported countries list
  • Whether recording minutes are per seat or per team
  • Call recording on the dialer product page, which does not mention it

Where the sources disagree

We report each version rather than pick one.

  • Apollo's pricing page lists a US dialer on Basic, while its free trial article says the dialer is only available on a Professional trial. We report both.
  • Apollo's pricing page lists call recording minutes on every plan, while its dialer product page does not mention recording or transcripts at all, though it lists AI summaries. We take the pricing page figures as the plan limits.

In practice

What it means for you.

Our reading of the facts above. Not a promise, and not the only reasonable reading.

1

A clear gap

If calls are part of how you sell, Warmerly does not replace Apollo's dialer. Use it for the email and LinkedIn side.

2

What the call minutes mean in credits

At 1 credit per 30 seconds, a minute on the US dialer is 2 credits, so Basic's 150 recording minutes is 300 credits if all of it is recorded calls. Basic's 2,500 monthly credits cover 1,250 call minutes, about 20.8 hours, if nothing else is spent. Professional's 4,000 covers 2,000 minutes and Organization's 6,000 covers 3,000.

3

An example month

For illustration only: a rep with 20 connected calls a day of 3 minutes each, over 20 working days, uses 6 credits a call. That is 2,400 credits a month, nearly all of a Basic seat's 2,500, leaving about 100 for emails and everything else.

4

What 4,000 minutes of recording is

4,000 minutes is about 66.7 hours and 8,000 is about 133.3 hours. 150 minutes is 2.5 hours. Whether that is per seat or per team changes the answer for a team of five, and the pricing page does not say.

5

The add-on over a year

$119 a month is $1,428 a year for the team, while the monthly price of $149 is $1,788, so annual billing saves $360. A team of three on Basic at $49 pays $147 a month for seats, and $266 with the add-on.

6

Mind the trial

Apollo's help article says the dialer is only available on a Professional trial, while the price card lists a US dialer on Basic. Check before you rely on a Basic trial for calls.

150 minutes on Free and Basic, 4,000 on Professional and 8,000 on Organization, per its pricing page.
