03

Annual billing is 20% below monthly

The annual view in the page's script uses per-mailbox rates of $20 for 1 to 5 mailboxes, $15.60 for 6 to 20, $14.40 for 21 to 50 and $12.80 for 51 to 100. Each is 20% under the monthly rate. The page does not say whether annual billing is charged up front.

What Mailreach does not say

We looked, and found no statement on these. That is about its published pages only, not about the product.

  • A GBP or EUR price
  • The end date of the autumn sale
  • Whether annual billing is charged up front
  • A price in pounds or euros
  • Whether the autumn sale applies to more than the first mailbox
  • How many emails a day a plan warms in total

Where the sources disagree

We report each version rather than pick one.

  • Pricing page text against its script: the visible text shows $19.50 a mailbox next to an 80-mailbox example, while the script sets the rate for 51 or more mailboxes at $16. We use the script's rates because its comparison page also says $25 per mailbox or less.
  • The estimated totals in the page text ($175, $210 and $1,323) do not reconcile with the mailbox rates. $210 equals the 500-credit monthly price and $175 is close to the 300-credit pay as you go price, so they look like default credit totals. We do not use any of them.

In practice

What it means for you.

Our reading of the facts above. Not a promise, and not the only reasonable reading.

1

Compare at your own mailbox count

At 1 mailbox Warmerly Free is $0 and Mailreach is $25. At 5 mailboxes it is $19 against $125.

2

Check what each price includes

Mailreach's plan includes spam testing and Warmerly's includes campaigns. Neither includes the other's main job.

3

An agency with 12 mailboxes

On Mailreach's monthly rates, 12 mailboxes at $19.50 are $234 a month. On Warmerly, 12 mailboxes sit inside Growth, which is $49 and covers up to 25. The difference is $185 a month before either side's extras.

4

A freelancer with 3 mailboxes

Three Mailreach mailboxes are $75 a month. Warmerly Starter is $19 for up to 5, and Free covers one mailbox at $0. If two of the three are still empty test inboxes, Free plus one paid plan is worth working out.

5

What annual billing saves

Five Mailreach mailboxes drop from $125 to $100 a month on its annual rates, a saving of $25 a month or $300 over a year if billing is charged up front. Warmerly's $190 a year for Starter works out at $15.83 a month.

6

Buying spam tests on top

Warmerly's 5 placement tests a month on Starter cost nothing extra. On Mailreach, a team that wants 100 tests a month would add $55 on the monthly credit plan, or $71.50 on pay as you go.
