Proxies and account safety

Proxies and LinkedIn account safety, in one look.
Warmerly runs each LinkedIn account on its own managed proxy through its hosted LinkedIn provider and has no bring-your-own-proxy setting that we found. HeyReach's FAQ says its entry plan gives each LinkedIn sender a dedicated residential proxy, and that Agency and Unlimited require you to bring your own proxies. HeyReach gives you more control and more to manage. Warmerly gives you fewer choices and a lower ceiling. Last checked 22 October 2026.

Between an account and a request
What each product puts in the way
Order is a simplification. Warmerly pauses warmup, not campaigns, when a warmup action looks restricted. HeyReach's cooldown and locks are described in its connection request limits article.
Warmerly, in detail.
Each LinkedIn account runs on its own managed proxy through the hosted provider. Lower, ramped limits apply, a restriction pauses warmup, and there is no custom proxy setting.
One account, one managed proxy
Warmerly's hosted LinkedIn provider puts each connected account on its own managed proxy, described as a dedicated IP per account. One account is one LinkedIn profile.

No proxy to buy or configure
The connection wizard reserves no proxy of ours and takes no proxy details. There is no custom proxy field that we found, so nobody on the team has to buy, test or rotate one.

Connecting the same person twice
Connecting the same LinkedIn member again updates the existing account in place and does not take a second slot.

Reconnecting means adding it again
The hosted provider keeps no password we can use to sign in again. A disconnected account is reconnected by adding it again from Accounts. Account status is checked every 15 minutes and only a connected, active account counts as healthy.

Ceilings that ramp
A standard account is held to 10 invitations a day and 50 a week, Premium 20 and 100. Invitations start at half the ceiling and reach it by day 15. Other actions ramp over 22 days. Warmup and campaigns spend from one budget.

A restriction pauses warmup
When a warmup action fails with something that looks like a restriction, checkpoint or rate limit, that account's warmup is paused with the reason and stays paused until someone turns it back on. A new connection starts paused.

What a LinkedIn account costs
A LinkedIn account is $19 a month on top of an email plan, 3 for $49 or 5 for $75, with no trial. We found no separate charge for the proxy.

Where Warmerly is behind
There is no way to bring your own proxy, choose its country or see its address. Teams that need a specific location, or that already own proxies, cannot use them.

HeyReach, in detail.
A dedicated residential proxy per sender on the entry plan, your own proxies on Agency and Unlimited, and custom proxy articles in the help centre.
Proxy by plan, per the pricing FAQ
The FAQ says the entry plan provides a dedicated residential proxy to each LinkedIn sender, and that Agency and Unlimited require you to bring your own proxies.

Custom proxies in the help centre
There are two articles: connecting a LinkedIn account with a custom proxy, and configuring a custom proxy for an account that is already connected.

More than one way to connect
Help articles cover connecting an account, Sales Navigator through cookies, and a Recruiter account through the HeyReach extension. Each account has a status and a re-sync button.

Cooldown and locks
If LinkedIn blocks a sender at the weekly limit, a cooldown stops sending until Monday. If HeyReach sees pushback, a lock delays requests for a couple of hours. Neither can be removed.

Habits the article recommends
Keep the acceptance rate above 20 per cent, remove unanswered pending requests, avoid manual actions and other automation tools on the same account, and warm the sender before using it fully.

Not LinkedIn
The home page footer says HeyReach is not associated with, or endorsed by, the LinkedIn Corporation. The page states no per-account limits.

What HeyReach does not say
We looked, and found no statement on these. That is about its published pages only, not about the product.
- A ramp schedule for a new sender
- What a custom proxy solution costs
- What the help article on plans says about proxies (it does not mention them)
- What HeyReach does if an account is restricted
Where the sources disagree
We report each version rather than pick one.
- The pricing FAQ calls the entry plan Starter and the pricing table calls it Growth, and the help article on plans does not mention proxies at all. We treat the FAQ as describing the entry plan.
Only what we could verify.

What it means for you.
Our reading of the facts above. Not a promise, and not the only reasonable reading.
More control means more to run
On Agency or Unlimited at HeyReach you buy and maintain the proxies. If you have an operations person who does this already, that is a feature. If not, it is a task that does not appear in the price.
Warmerly's lower ceilings are part of the safety story
A ramp and a hard ceiling make it hard to send more than a new account should. They also make it impossible to send more when your account is older and healthy.
Neither can promise an account is safe
LinkedIn decides. HeyReach's own help article says LinkedIn does not publish its limits. Treat any claim of safety, including ours, as a description of how a tool behaves and not a guarantee.
Pick the one that fits.
Warmerly is the better fit if
- You want no proxy work at all
- You prefer a low, ramped ceiling set for you
HeyReach is the better fit if
- You already own proxies, or want to choose them
- You want written cooldown and lock rules and higher volume per sender
Does Warmerly let me bring my own proxy?
We found no custom proxy setting. Each account runs on a managed proxy through the hosted LinkedIn provider.
Does HeyReach include proxies?
Its pricing FAQ says the entry plan gives each sender a dedicated residential proxy, and Agency and Unlimited require your own (read 22 October 2026).
Is it safe to run LinkedIn automation?
LinkedIn's rules decide, and neither tool can guarantee an account will not be restricted. Lower limits and a ramp reduce how much a new account does in a day.
