Connection request and message, with waits and email steps in the same sequence.
LinkedIn steps in a sequence
One row, in depth: what each tool does, the verified numbers, and who each suits.
HeyReach details read from its pricing page, home page and help centre on 21 October 2026.
Connection request and message, with waits and email steps in the same sequence.
Connection request, message, InMail, profile view, follow, post like and find email, with two conditions.
LinkedIn steps in a sequence, in one look.
Warmerly's sequence has a connection request and a message step, plus waits and email steps. Warmerly's advantage is that email and LinkedIn steps sit in one sequence without a separate email tool. HeyReach's sequence builder lists connection requests, messages, InMail, profile views, follows, post likes and a find-email step, with If connected and open-profile conditions. HeyReach is clearly ahead on LinkedIn actions. Last checked 22 October 2026.
Connection request, message, InMail, profile view, follow, post like and find email, with two conditions.
Drawn side by side.
Every LinkedIn step, side by side
Warmerly lists 5 steps it has and 3 it lacks. HeyReach lists 9. Select a chip to read its rule.
Warmerly, in detail.
Two LinkedIn steps (connection request and message) in the same sequence as email, waits and branching conditions on email events.
Two LinkedIn steps
A sequence can hold a LinkedIn connection step, a LinkedIn message step, wait steps and email steps. A LinkedIn then email template connects first, waits 2 days, then sends two emails.

Ceilings for a standard account
A standard account is held to 10 connection requests a day and 50 a week, ramped over the first two weeks. Waits sit between steps.

Messages wait for the connection
Before a message step the engine checks the lead's profile. A pending invitation is re-checked every 6 hours, and the lead is skipped if still not connected 21 days after the invitation.

AI-written messages, optional
Each LinkedIn message can be written for one prospect from their profile, at 1 AI credit each, off by default.

Business hours of the person you contact
Email, connection and LinkedIn message steps wait for the lead's own local business hours when their country is known, so a request does not go out in the middle of their night.

A reply stops the sequence
When a LinkedIn reply arrives and the campaign has stop on reply set, the lead is marked replied and later steps do not go out. A reply that says not interested or stop means the person is never messaged again by any campaign step.

Where Warmerly is behind
We found no step that views a profile, follows, likes a post or sends an InMail, and no open-profile check. Branching conditions are on email events, not LinkedIn ones.

HeyReach, in detail.
A broad set of LinkedIn actions and two conditions, with email through integrations.
The action list
The help article lists connection request, send message, send InMail, view profile, follow profile, like post and find email.

Two conditions
"If connected" splits leads into connected and not connected branches. "Open profile check" splits open and not open profiles and is available only for senders with Sales Navigator.

Delays and limits
Most steps need a delay, with a "minimum of 3 hours' delay between two actions". Warm-up actions have a daily limit of 40 per sender.

Rules that catch people out
Connection requests fail for a lead who is already a connection, has a pending request or was withdrawn in the last three weeks. A sequence cannot start with a message to a 2nd or 3rd degree lead.

Voice notes
The home page lists voice notes, and the help centre has an AI voice notes article marked beta. The actions article we read does not mention them.

Sequence order changes what you send
A step higher in the sequence can cap the steps below it. The article's example is a like-post limit of 10 a day ahead of a connection request limit of 20, which means that campaign never reaches 20 requests. It advises starting with the action that has the higher daily limit.

Limits are split between steps
Where a campaign has several steps of one action, the daily limit is divided between them. A like-post limit of 30 across 3 like-post steps gives about 10 per step a day.

InMail needs the right licence
If a sequence includes InMail, every sender selected needs a Sales Navigator licence, or the campaign will not launch. Voice notes cannot go by InMail.

Notes on a connection request
Personalised notes are limited to 10 a month on a free LinkedIn account and are unlimited on Premium, Sales Navigator and Recruiter accounts.

Working hours
The article recommends an 8 to 12 hour working window. A short window such as 3 hours may stop you reaching the daily limit because of randomised delays.

What HeyReach does not say
We looked, and found no statement on these. That is about its published pages only, not about the product.
- Whether voice notes are available on every plan
- A step that comments on a post
Only what we could verify.

What it means for you.
Our reading of the facts above. Not a promise, and not the only reasonable reading.
HeyReach can build a fuller LinkedIn journey
View, follow and like before a request, then branch on connection. Warmerly cannot do the warm-up steps inside a sequence.
Warmerly keeps email in the same flow
A sequence can move from a LinkedIn message to an email step with no integration to set up.
The order of steps matters more in HeyReach
Because daily limits are shared across steps, a sequence that opens with a low-limit action can starve the one after it. Warmerly's short sequence has less to tune and less to get wrong.
A reply is treated the same way in both
Both tools stop a sequence for someone who answers. In Warmerly it is a setting on the campaign, and LinkedIn replies were added to it only on 12 October 2026, so check it is on.
Pick the one that fits.
Warmerly is the better fit if
- Two LinkedIn steps are enough for you
- You want email steps in the same sequence
- You want waits and LinkedIn steps next to email, with replies stopping the sequence
HeyReach is the better fit if
- You want profile views, follows, likes and InMail
- You want conditions on connection state
- You send InMail and have Sales Navigator on every sender
What LinkedIn actions does Warmerly automate in a campaign?
A connection request and a message, with waits and email steps around them. We found no profile view, follow, like or InMail step.
What actions does HeyReach list?
Connection request, message, InMail, view profile, follow profile, like post and find email, with If connected and open profile conditions (help.heyreach.io, read 21 October 2026).
Does Warmerly stop a sequence when someone replies on LinkedIn?
Yes, if the campaign has stop on reply set. The lead is marked replied and later steps do not go out. This was added for LinkedIn replies on 12 October 2026.
Can HeyReach send InMail on every plan?
The articles we read do not tie InMail to a plan. They say every sender in a sequence with InMail needs a Sales Navigator licence (help.heyreach.io, read 22 October 2026).
