Daily limits and account safety

Daily limits and account safety, in one look.
Both tools hold a LinkedIn account under daily numbers. Dux-Soup publishes recommended figures for four account types, defaults to 20 connection requests and 50 messages a day, and lets you change them. Warmerly gives one set of ceilings, ramps them over about two weeks and lets you lower them but not raise them. Last checked 22 October 2026.

Drawn side by side.
Connection requests a day, drawn
Warmerly's ramp over three weeks against Dux-Soup's default
- Warmerly, standard account: 5 invitations a day on days 1 to 3, 6 on days 4 to 7, 8 on days 8 to 14, 10 from day 15, and 50 a week.
- Dux-Soup: a default of 20 connection requests a day, with 5 to 10 suggested for beginners. No ramp is described.
A default is not a recommendation. Dux-Soup's help article says you can change its limits under Settings, Throttling; Warmerly's can be lowered but not raised.
How limits are set
From each side's own description
Other actions on Warmerly's ramp reach 20, 35, 55, 75 and 100 per cent of their ceilings over days 1 to 3, 4 to 7, 8 to 14, 15 to 21 and from day 22.
Warmerly, in detail.
Each action type ramps on its own curve from the day the account is connected, inside a fixed daily budget that warmup and campaigns share. You can lower the caps but not raise them.
Invitations ramp on their own, faster curve
A standard account sends 5 invitations a day on days 1 to 3, 6 a day on days 4 to 7, 8 a day on days 8 to 14 and the full 10 a day from day 15. The weekly cap ramps the same way: 25, 30, 40, then 50. Premium accounts have a ceiling of 20 a day and 100 a week.

Everything else ramps at 20, 35, 55, 75 and 100 per cent
Profile views, reactions, comments, messages and posts ramp over days 1 to 3, 4 to 7, 8 to 14, 15 to 21 and 22 on. Our arithmetic from the caps: profile views 8, 14, 22, 30 then 40 a day; reactions 4, 7, 11, 15 then 20; messages 10, 17, 27, 37 then 50; comments 1, 1, 2, 3 then 5; posts 0, 0, 1, 1 then 2.

What counts as a day
The ramp counts from the larger of the warmup days completed and the calendar age of the connection, so an account used only for campaigns still climbs with time. A new connection starts with warmup paused until you switch it on.

A safety pause
If a failure looks like a restriction, a checkpoint or a rate limit, the account's warmup is paused with the reason and stays paused until someone turns it back on.

Not seen live at the time of the doc
Warmerly's own LinkedIn doc recorded on 12 October 2026 that no warmup job had yet run in production, and that posting, reacting and commenting were read from the provider's docs and not exercised live. We did not re-test it.

Weekly invitation cap alongside the daily one
Invitations also have a weekly ceiling, 50 on a standard account and 100 on Premium, which ramps with the daily figure: 25, 30, 40, then 50 in a week.
Warmerly product, checked 22 October 2026
Search is budgeted too
A mature account may run up to 500 profile searches a day, with the same ramp, and posts are capped at 2 a day.

Automatic pauses and a planner
STACKED pauses when you hit a daily limit or LinkedIn's weekly cap, and a weekly planner sets the hours it runs. The limits can be changed under Settings, Throttling.

A claim about bans
Its safety article says it has had no reports of users on its recommended settings being banned, and that accounts stay safe within them. It does not say how that was counted, over what period or how many users.

LinkedIn's own weekly cap is watched
Its safety page says STACKED pauses when you hit a limit or LinkedIn's weekly cap, and snoozes once you reach your weekly invite limit. It publishes no weekly figure.

Several actions draw on one visit allowance
Visits, connection requests, direct messages, endorsements, likes and follows all count towards the daily profile visit limit, and the article does not say how many visits each uses.

Queued actions wait for the limit
Actions beyond a limit stay in Queued Activity until they can run, and the article says a reached limit does not mean the campaign is faulty. Failed actions retry up to three times, per its analytics page.

Its own limit on what it promises
The article says no automation setting can guarantee an account avoids restrictions, because LinkedIn sets and changes its own.

What Dux-Soup does not say
We looked, and found no statement on these. That is about its published pages only, not about the product.
- Weekly numbers for each account type
- How its claim of zero reports of bans was gathered (its safety article says none were reported for users on recommended settings)
- Whether the recommended figures can be exceeded
- A statement on LinkedIn's terms of service
- How the recommended figures were chosen
- A published weekly cap per account type
- Whether Random mode applies to messages and requests as well as visits
Where the sources disagree
We report each version rather than pick one.
- Its safety page says daily activity levels are randomised, while its help article gives fixed recommended figures and a fixed 5-minute pause after every 20 profile visits.
Only what we could verify.

What it means for you.
Our reading of the facts above. Not a promise, and not the only reasonable reading.
Start low on either tool
Both advise starting lower on a new account.
Dux-Soup's numbers are higher and editable
That is more room, and more of the responsibility is yours.
Warmerly's caps only tighten
You can lower them, never raise them, which is safer and less flexible.
A Free LinkedIn account on each side
Dux-Soup recommends up to 50 profile visits and 25 messages a day on a Free account, and its default message limit of 50 is double that. Warmerly caps a standard account at 40 profile views and 50 messages a day at full ramp, reached after about three weeks.
A Sales Navigator account
Dux-Soup's recommended figures rise to 250 visits and 125 messages a day. Warmerly's code has a standard and a Premium tier only, so those numbers do not apply.
A busy hour
In Random mode Dux-Soup runs between 25 and 125 profile visits an hour with a 5 minute pause after every 20. Twenty visits at the top speed take about 10 minutes (our arithmetic from 125 an hour), then a 5 minute rest.
Raising the limits
Dux-Soup lets you raise limits under Settings, Throttling, with a warning to do it gradually. Warmerly lets you lower caps and never raise them, which is safer and also less flexible.
Pick the one that fits.
