The shape of a sequence
A sample, from each side's own description
A sample, not a recommended cadence. Dux-Soup says up to 12 actions can be chained in any order; its pages describe no condition other than a reply.

Warmerly, in detail.
A drag-and-drop canvas with a condition step that branches on replied, clicked, opened or a timeout, mixed with email, LinkedIn and wait steps. LinkedIn rules like waiting for a connection are built in, not drawn as a branch. The simpler list editor builds linear sequences.
One condition step, four outcomes
A condition step waits for a set time and races the outcomes against each other. A reply wins first, then a click, then an open, and if the time runs out with nothing matched the timeout edge fires (or the default edge). The opened and clicked outcomes are read from the lead's latest email. The step is checked once per engine tick.

Only the canvas makes branches
Branching sequences are built in the drag-and-drop canvas. The simpler list editor handles linear sequences only: email, wait, LinkedIn connection, LinkedIn message and WhatsApp message. If a sequence has a condition, the list editor refuses to show it rather than flatten it.

A reply stops the sequence by default
A genuine reply stops the lead's sequence by default, and unsubscribes go on a workspace-wide suppression list that every step respects.

Merge tags and AI openers are checked before launch
Pre-launch checks block a campaign with an unknown merge tag, or with an AI opener that has no brief.

Where Warmerly is behind
We found no condition on whether a lead is connected, has an open profile, followed you or visited your profile, and no branch on a missing email address.

Ready-made sequences to start from
A 'LinkedIn then email' template connects first, waits 2 days, then sends two emails. A plain three-step intro needs no AI brief, while the default three-step cold intro uses an AI opener and blocks launch until a brief is written.

Warnings you can accept, errors you cannot
A pre-launch error blocks Start. A warning, such as a thin lead list for an AI opener or content that looks spammy, makes Start refuse once until you acknowledge it.

What Dux-Soup does not say
We looked, and found no statement on these. That is about its published pages only, not about the product.
- Conditions or branches other than a reply
- A library of ready-made sequences
- Email steps
- Branches on a LinkedIn state such as a connection being accepted
- A limit on how many steps a campaign may delay for
Only what we could verify.

What it means for you.
Our reading of the facts above. Not a promise, and not the only reasonable reading.
Branching is where Warmerly goes further on email
The condition step reads opened, clicked and replied outcomes from the lead's email.
Dux-Soup's sequence is simpler and longer on LinkedIn
Twelve LinkedIn actions with delays, and a reply ends it.
Check what your sequence needs
If it needs a branch on a LinkedIn state, neither list shows one.
A four-touch sequence in each tool
On Dux-Soup: visit, connect, message after acceptance, follow-up. All four are LinkedIn actions and a reply ends the chain. On Warmerly, for example: connect, wait, email, then branch on opened or clicked into a LinkedIn message or a second email.
What counts as a long sequence
If each of the 11 gaps between 12 steps is two days, the chain runs 22 days (our arithmetic). Warmerly states no length limit in what we read.
Finding out why nothing went out
Dux-Soup has an Activity Log and Queued Activity to see waiting and failed actions. Warmerly's pre-launch checks catch an unknown merge tag or a missing brief before launch, so some of those faults never reach the queue.
Stopping on a reply
Both stop a lead's sequence when a genuine reply arrives. Warmerly also checks its suppression list before every email step, so a lead who unsubscribed is never emailed again.

Can Dux-Soup send email as part of a sequence?
We found no email step. Its drip campaigns are made of LinkedIn actions.
Can Warmerly branch a sequence?
Yes, in the canvas editor, on replied, clicked, opened or a timeout. It has no branch on a LinkedIn state such as an open profile.
How long can a Dux-Soup drip campaign be?
Up to 12 actions, in any order, with a custom delay on each step.
Does Warmerly test two versions of a message?
We found no A/B testing in its campaign editor. You can run two campaigns and compare them yourself.
Who can build a branch in Warmerly?
Anyone on the canvas editor. The simpler list editor handles linear sequences only.
