Spam rescue, in one look.
Warmerly and Warmbox both rescue warm-up mail from spam. Warmerly moves every spam-placed warmup message to the inbox after a delay of 10 to 120 minutes, marks it read, starred and important, and queues a reply. Warmbox lists Auto-Remove from Spam on every plan and says it moves, opens and bookmarks warm-up emails, but gives no timing. Last checked 22 October 2026.

From spam to inbox
Minutes between a warmup email landing in spam and it being moved out
Warmerly's timings come from its warmup code. We found no rescue timing on Warmbox's pages.
What each does with a rescued mail
The steps each page describes
Warmbox's list comes from its features page. It does not say whether a message is marked important or when it is moved.
Warmerly, in detail.
Every spam-placed warmup message, after a human-like delay.
Every spam-placed warmup mail
The processor recovers any warmup message found in a recipient's spam or junk folder. It never touches campaign mail to real prospects.
Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026
What a rescue does
It marks the message read, starred and important and moves it to the inbox. On Gmail, moving out of Spam is the Not spam signal.
Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026
When it happens
Each message has a read delay of 10 to 120 minutes, and the first email of a mailbox is read after 10 to 20 minutes.

A reply follows
After a rescue a reply is queued unless the thread is at depth 3.

Not sampled
Every message found in spam is rescued. There is no percentage and no random skip, because a message left in Spam keeps teaching the filter that the sender is junk.

Four folders are searched
The recipient side looks in [Gmail]/Spam, Junk, Spam and Junk Email, which covers Gmail, Outlook and the common IMAP names.
Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026
It clears the junk flag first
Before moving the message, the processor removes the Junk keywords and adds NotJunk keywords. This is best effort, because servers differ on which keywords they accept.
Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026
A reply follows a rescue
After a rescue the recipient queues a reply whatever its usual reply rate. The reply is skipped at thread depth 3, or when the recipient is not active or ageing with warmup on.
Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026
Rescues are counted
A rescued job is recorded as delivered to spam and as opened, so rescues show up in placement and rescue figures instead of vanishing.
Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026
Spam placement slows the ramp
A spam placement score of 10 or more cuts a mailbox's daily quota to 70%, and 20 or more to 40%, until placement recovers.
Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026
Lost mail has an end state
A warmup message still unfound after 72 hours is closed as unknown, so it cannot sit in the figures as pending forever.

What Warmbox does not say
We looked, and found no statement on these. That is about its published pages only, not about the product.
- How long after landing in spam a message is moved
- Whether a rescued message is marked important
- Whether the rescue is per message or a share of messages
- The delay before a message is moved
- Which provider folders are checked
- Whether a rescue is applied to every message
- What happens to a message that is rescued twice
Where the sources disagree
We report each version rather than pick one.
- Warmbox's help article claims a 25% to 35% rise in open rates within 3 weeks, while its pricing page says first results usually take 15 to 30 days and its how-long article says 30 to 50 days. We do not show any of these as a result.
Only what we could verify.

What it means for you.
Our reading of the facts above. Not a promise, and not the only reasonable reading.
Both do the same job
Warm-up mail that lands in spam is moved out so providers see a positive signal. The difference is how much each tells you.
Warmerly shows its working
Timing, the star and important flags and the reply rule are documented. Warmbox's pages stay general.
The job is the same
Both tools move warm-up mail out of spam and give it a positive signal. The difference is how much you can check. Warmerly documents the timing, the flags, the folders and the reply rule. Warmbox describes the outcome.
Do not read it as a guarantee
A rescue improves how providers see your warm-up mail between warm-up inboxes. It does not move your prospects' mail out of spam, and neither tool claims that it does.
Be careful with the 25 to 35 percent claim
Warmbox says users typically see this rise in open rates. It gives no sample, period or method, and open rates are unreliable because of privacy features in mail apps. We show the claim and do not repeat it as a result.
Where Warmbox is ahead
It shows a spam rate for each inbox in its analytics tab, and its pages describe the cycle in plain steps. Warmerly shows placement and rescue figures, but the page does not call it a spam rate.
Check the spam rate for yourself
Whichever tool you use, watch whether spam placement of warm-up mail falls over the first few weeks. If it does not, look at your DNS records and your domain before you blame the tool.
Pick the one that fits.
Warmerly is the better fit if
- You want the timing and the flags written down
- You want every spam-placed warmup message rescued, not a share
- You want the delay and the flags written down
- You want rescues counted in your figures
- You want spam placement to slow the ramp automatically
- You want the rule for the reply after a rescue stated
Warmbox is the better fit if
- You want a spam rate shown per inbox in analytics
- You want Mark as favourite listed as its own feature
- You want a spam rate figure for each inbox in analytics
- You like its plain description of the cycle
- You want Mark as favourite emails and Auto-Remove listed as plan features
- You want the reply rate set by you, up to 45%
- You want its stated network to carry out the rescue
