What it looks like.

Warmerly, in detail.
A placement test, labelled Limited accuracy for now.
What a test does
It sends one message to up to 4 targets, waits 30 seconds on demand or 90 in the daily sweep, checks Inbox, Promotions, Spam and Junk over IMAP and scores each result.
Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026
No dedicated seed list yet
Real measurement needs seed mailboxes at Gmail, Outlook or Yahoo. A check on 15 October 2026 found none in production, so every test falls back to Warmerly's own mailboxes.
Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026
Limited accuracy is shown
A fallback test scores close to 100 whatever the sender's real result, so the app labels it Limited accuracy and never uses it to change health.
Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026
Allowances
Free has 3 placement tests a month, Starter 5, Growth 25 and Agency 100.

Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026
How the score is built
Each target result scores 100 for inbox, 60 for promotions, 10 for spam and 0 if the message is missing, and the test score is the average across targets.
Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026
Which targets
A test picks up to 2 targets on the same provider as the sender and up to 2 on other providers, so a Gmail mailbox is checked against both Gmail and non-Gmail recipients.
Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026
Three sources of targets
The best is a dedicated seed mailbox at Gmail, Outlook or Yahoo, then consenting mailboxes of other customers in the warmup network, then Warmerly's own pool mailboxes as a degraded fallback.
Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026
A degraded run never changes health
A run against our own pool mailboxes scores close to 100 whatever the sender's real standing, so it is labelled Limited accuracy and kept out of health, spam score and the ramp.
Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026
Trends compare like with like
A change between two tests is shown only when both ran against the same kind of target.
Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026
A daily sweep
A daily job tests up to 5 mailboxes per run and skips any mailbox tested in the last 24 hours. A test left running for over 20 minutes is marked failed.
Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026
On demand from the Health tab
A test started from a mailbox's Health tab takes about 45 to 60 seconds with four targets and is stored even if you close the browser.

What Warmbox does not say
We looked, and found no statement on these. That is about its published pages only, not about the product.
- A seed list or inbox placement test that is live
- How the spam score is calculated
- Which mailbox providers a spam check looks at
- How many seed inboxes a check uses
- Whether the score changes warm-up settings
Where the sources disagree
We report each version rather than pick one.
- The checker page lists Inbox Spam Check as Coming Soon for the major providers, but the help centre documents an in-app Email Spam Checker with a score out of 100. The help pages may describe a different test, a content and DNS test of one email, and neither page says so.
- The features page says the audit is based on more than 120 checkpoints, while the checker page says 100+ blacklists. The counts may measure different things.
Only what we could verify.

What it means for you.
Our reading of the facts above. Not a promise, and not the only reasonable reading.
Neither is a true inbox placement result
Warmerly's test is limited until it has real seed mailboxes. Warmbox's spam rate measures its own warm-up mail, not your campaigns.
Treat both as signals
Check placement yourself by sending to your own Gmail and Outlook inboxes.
Know what each number measures
Warmerly's test sends a real message and looks in folders. Warmbox's spam rate counts warm-up mail, and its spam checker scores the email you send it. They measure different things.
Look for the Limited accuracy label
A Warmerly result against its own pool is marked Limited accuracy. Treat that as a signal, not a placement result.
Test the email you actually send
Warmbox's checker reads one email you send. If your campaign copy differs, send that copy.
Do not trust a single run
Both tools sample a small set. Repeat over several days and watch the trend.
Check by hand too
Send to your own Gmail and Outlook accounts and look in the folders. It costs nothing and shows what a customer sees.
Warm-up mail is not campaign mail
A spam rate on warm-up emails says how the network treats that traffic, not how prospects' filters treat yours.
Pick the one that fits.

- You want a daily sweep of your mailboxes
- You want trends only compared like with like

Warmbox is the better fit if
- You want a spam rate for warm-up mail shown in your dashboard
- You want a spam rate on your warm-up mail in the same dashboard
- You want one score out of 100 with a guide for each item
- You want to share a report by public link
- You want the SpamAssassin score and authentication in one report
- You are happy to send a test email by hand
- You want a deliverability library to read alongside
