Drawn side by side.
Warmerly, in detail.
A verifier with five plain answers, nine checks you can open, a test send for doubtful addresses and a monthly allowance that renews and rises with the plan.
A monthly allowance
Verifications are 250 a month on Free, 5,000 on Starter, 25,000 on Growth and 150,000 on Agency.

It renews
The allowance is monthly, not a one-time pool.

Metered with other things
Verifications sit with lookups, exports, placement tests and AI credits as monthly allowances.

Five answers, each with a reason
A result reads Safe to send, Send with caution, Do not send or Unknown, with a confidence score and a one-line reason. Confirmed is a fifth answer, used when Warmerly knows the mailbox is real from something that happened, such as a reply to real mail. A standard check does not send a message to the address.
Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026
Unknown is never turned into Invalid
An address is marked Invalid only on hard evidence: a bad format, a domain with no mail server, a disposable domain, or the server saying the mailbox does not exist. If the server blocks the check or times out, the answer is Unknown, so a good address is not thrown away on a guess.

Catch-all is explained, not hidden
Catch-all means the company's mail server accepts mail for any address at the domain. Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 behave this way for outside checks, so many business addresses land here. The help article calls it a limit of what can be known from outside, not a fault with your list.
Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026
Nine checks you can open
Show details lists Format, Mail server reachable, Mailbox accepts, Catch-all, Disposable, Shared inbox, Free provider, Can receive email and the mail Provider. A domain that looks like a typo of a well-known one gets a Did you mean suggestion you can click. A shared inbox such as info@ or support@ becomes Send with caution, because it will not reach one person.
Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026
A test send for the doubtful ones
When a check comes back Catch-all, Risky or Unknown, a button sends one short message from a connected mailbox and watches the inbox for a bounce for a few minutes. A bounce turns the result into Do not send. It counts as an ordinary send for that mailbox, it is not billed as a separate verification, and it cannot settle a true catch-all domain, which never bounces.

Recent results are free to read again
If Warmerly remembers a recent result for an address, it shows it instantly and free, with a Re-check button to run a fresh check. Bulk upload on the same page checks a list, and a documented Verify API exists for developers on plans that include API access.

What the free checker tests
Its email checker page lists syntax against the RFC standards, domain DNS and MX records, SMTP server connectivity, mailbox existence over SMTP without sending an email, disposable addresses, catch-all domains, role-based addresses such as info@ and admin@, and an overall deliverability risk.

Five free checks, no registration
The page offers 5 free verifications and shows a counter reading 5 checks remaining today, which suggests a daily limit. Its FAQ says no registration is required. The page does not say whether the limit is per user, per address or per browser.

Three result labels
The FAQ says a result shows whether an address is deliverable, risky or invalid. It also mentions detailed risk scoring and validation reports, but the page shows no sample output, only a demo video thumbnail.

Accuracy claimed, method not given
The FAQ states 99%+ accuracy using multiple methods. It gives no test method, sample size or date, so we report the claim and do not use it as a number to compare.

Compared with NeverBounce, in two ways
One FAQ answer says the tool offers similar validation capabilities to NeverBounce at no cost, suited to small-scale use before bulk checks. The page elsewhere makes a stronger claim of better validation. We read the softer FAQ wording as the one to rely on.

Bulk and API are named in passing
The use cases listed are before campaigns, form submissions, CRM imports, list cleaning, lead verification and API integrations. The page gives no bulk file limit, no API description and no price, only a View Pricing link and a Get Started link to registration.

Bounce prevention on the pricing page is about its own network
Its pricing page lists bounce prevention in the price justification and says invalid inboxes are deactivated automatically. That describes the inboxes in its warm-up network, and the page does not say it checks your lead list.

What Mailwarm does not say
We looked, and found no statement on these. That is about its published pages only, not about the product.
- How many verifications each plan includes
- Whether verification costs extra
- Whether the built-in verification on the features page is the same system as the free checker
- How many verifications a paying plan includes, or what an extra one costs
- How catch-all and role-based flags are decided, and how reliable they are
- How servers that block SMTP probes, or greylist them, are handled
- Whether verified results are stored against your contacts or exported
Where the sources disagree
We report each version rather than pick one.
- Its checker page claims better validation than NeverBounce in one place and similar capabilities at no cost in its FAQ, so we use the softer wording.
Only what we could verify.

What it means for you.
Our reading of the facts above. Not a promise, and not the only reasonable reading.
Compare allowances before relying on it
We could not find a number for Mailwarm, so no like-for-like comparison is possible.
A list of 1,000 addresses
On Warmerly Starter, 1,000 checks use a fifth of the 5,000 monthly allowance and leave 4,000. On Mailwarm's free checker at 5 a day, the same list would take 200 days, which is our arithmetic and assumes the counter is one per person. Its pages do not say whether paying customers can verify in bulk.
A month of the free tools side by side
Five checks a day over 30 days is 150 addresses. Warmerly's Free plan allows 250 a month, which is 100 more, but it needs an account and the Mailwarm checker does not. Which matters depends on whether you are checking one address before a reply or cleaning a list.
What to do with a catch-all result
Both tools name catch-all domains. Warmerly says what the answer means, that the exact address cannot be confirmed from outside, and offers a test send for the rest. Mailwarm's page names the flag and gives no advice on what to do with it, so you would decide yourself.
Verification is for the list, warmup is for the mailbox
Warmup mail goes between mailboxes in a pool, so a bad lead address cannot hurt it. Verification matters when you send campaigns. Warmerly sends those from the mailboxes it warms, so a verified lead and a warmed mailbox meet in one place. Mailwarm lists no campaign sender, so its checker is a stand-alone step before you send from another tool.
Bounces come from lists as well as setups
Mailwarm's own blacklist page lists old or purchased lists with high bounce rates as a common cause of listings. Warmerly's verifier is aimed at that cause. Neither fixes a damaged domain, and Mailwarm's pages say warm-up cannot repair a bad list.
Ask before you rely on the built-in system
The features page lists a built-in verification system, with a sample panel showing 5 addresses and a 60% pass rate. The page does not say whether that is real data, and the sample does not say how a risky address is handled. If you need verification inside the paid plan, ask Mailwarm for the allowance in writing.
Pick the one that fits.
Warmerly is the better fit if
- You want a monthly allowance in writing
- You verify lists every month and want an allowance in writing that renews
- You want an uncertain address settled with a test send from your own mailbox
- You want the answer to say what to do next, not only a label
Mailwarm is the better fit if
- You want verification built into the same service as warmup
- You want to check a single address now, with no account
- You want verification described beside warmup and monitoring in one product page
Does Mailwarm verify emails?
Its features page lists a built-in email verification system. No allowance is stated.
How many does Warmerly include?
5,000 a month on Starter, 25,000 on Growth and 150,000 on Agency, renewing monthly.
Does Mailwarm say how accurate its verification is?
It states 99%+ accuracy with multiple methods, and gives no test method, sample size or date. Warmerly publishes no accuracy figure for its verifier either.
Can Warmerly confirm a catch-all address?
Not by checking from outside, because the server accepts every address. For a Risky, Catch-all or Unknown result it offers a test send from your own mailbox, and a bounce shows the mailbox does not exist. It cannot settle a true catch-all domain, which never bounces.
