La Growth Machine may offer something we did not find. Warmerly's test reaches its own warmup mailboxes until real Gmail and Outlook seeds exist, and says so on the page.
What it looks like.

Warmerly, in detail.
A real test with a score for each target, run on demand or daily. Its limit is where the targets are: until real Gmail or Outlook seeds exist, a test measures delivery into Warmerly's own mailboxes and says so.
What a test does
It sends one message from the mailbox's own SMTP to up to 4 targets (2 on the same provider, 2 on another). After a wait of 30 seconds on demand, or 90 seconds in the daily sweep, it checks INBOX, Promotions, Spam and Junk over IMAP and scores each result: inbox 100, promotions 60, spam 10, missing 0. The scores are averaged.

No dedicated seed list yet
Real measurement needs seed mailboxes at Gmail, Outlook or Yahoo in the placement_seeds table. The doc's check on 2026-10-15 found that table has never held a real row in production, so every test falls back to Warmerly's own warmup-pool mailboxes.

Why a degraded result is not a measurement
Warmerly's own mailboxes accept essentially everything, so a degraded score is about 100 whatever the sender's real performance. In code a degraded run never writes health, is excluded from the spam score and the warmup quota, and the account page shows a Limited accuracy note. A trend is shown only when the two latest tests are the same kind.

When it runs, and how many
On demand from the mailbox Health tab (about 45 to 60 seconds), and daily for up to 5 mailboxes per sweep, skipping any tested in the last 24 hours. Monthly test allowances are 3 on Free, 5 on Starter, 25 on Growth and 100 on Agency.

Placement stays out of automatic stops
Warmerly's reputation job pauses sending on bounce rate (7 per cent) and undeliverable rate (30 per cent), each after at least 25 sends. It does not use placement, because the only placement signal available is the seed test and those seeds have been unreliable.
Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026
Customers cannot add their own seed mailboxes
Seed mailboxes are managed on an admin-only page, with an encrypted IMAP login for each. The doc asks for throwaway domains kept apart from the warmup pool, and covers Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo and custom hosts. A customer cannot point a test at an address of their own.
Warmerly product, checked 21 October 2026
A third target source exists but is switched off
A route that would use consenting Gmail and Outlook mailboxes already enrolled in the warmup network is written, with daily caps per customer. It is off by default (PLACEMENT_REAL_SEEDS) and the doc says it has not been run against production.

Where a result shows up
The result sits on the mailbox page as a placement card, with a staged progress panel while it runs. The run finishes and is stored even if you close the browser. A run left unfinished for over 20 minutes is marked failed by the sweep. The Spam placement (7 day) figure on the page leaves degraded runs out.

Its help centre points you to other tools
The article on setting up an email domain tells you to check records with MXToolbox, and the deliverability article says to warm a new domain by hand for about 3 weeks or with a service such as MailWarm or MailReach. Neither mentions a seed test.

Benchmarks instead of a test
The same article gives rules of thumb: an open rate below 60 per cent is poor, 60 to 80 average, above 80 excellent, and 100 per cent suspicious because an antivirus or bot may be opening mail. Open tracking works by a pixel, so those numbers say little about the folder a message landed in. It also says 90 to 95 per cent deliverability is a good aim.

A warning label before launch
In a campaign's Identity step an identity shows a Deliverability issues label when its SPF, DKIM or DMARC records, or its custom tracking domain, are invalid or still pending. A tracking domain that was never set up does not trigger it. That is a configuration check, not a placement result.

Spreading sends is its main lever
Inbox Rotation spreads sends over up to 10 addresses per identity, keeps each lead on one address, applies daily limits per address and spaces sends inside your working hours.

What it does measure
Campaign statistics through the API include open, click, reply and bounce rates, leads reached and steps completed. Those are outcomes of sent mail, not where a test message lands.

What La Growth Machine does not say
We looked, and found no statement on these. That is about its published pages only, not about the product.
- An inbox placement or seed test
- A spam-folder report
- A list of seed mailboxes at Gmail or Outlook
- A report of how many messages reached the inbox, promotions or spam
- A bounce or complaint threshold that pauses sending by itself
Where the sources disagree
We report each version rather than pick one.
- Two La Growth Machine help articles give different bounce guidance: one says a rate below 2 per cent is ideal, the other calls below 7 per cent very low risk.
Only what we could verify.

Our reading of the facts above. Not a promise, and not the only reasonable reading.
Read a Warmerly result with care
Until real Gmail or Outlook seeds exist, a test measures delivery into Warmerly's own mailboxes and says so on the page.
Without a test
On La Growth Machine you would use another tool to see where email lands.
How often a Warmerly test is available
Monthly test allowances are 5 on Starter and 25 on Growth. Spread evenly over 30 days that is one test about every six days on Starter and nearly one a day on Growth. Agency's 100 is about three a day. A daily sweep tests up to 5 mailboxes and skips any tested in the last 24 hours.
What a rotation can carry on La Growth Machine
Its help centre gives 100 a day as a very safe volume for a Google Workspace mailbox. Ten addresses on Ultimate would be 1,000 a day by that figure and five addresses on Pro 500. That is our arithmetic on its numbers, not a promise from either product, and it assumes every address is already warm.
Why 2 per cent matters at that volume
If 500 emails go out in a day and the bounce rate is the 2 per cent its help article calls ideal, 10 of them bounce. At the 7 per cent its other article calls very low risk it is 35. The two articles disagree, so pick the stricter figure when you set a limit by hand.
Pick the one that fits.
Warmerly is the better fit if
- You want a placement score on a mailbox, knowing its limits
- You want a test message sent from the mailbox itself, read back over IMAP, with a score for each target
- You accept that a result is marked limited while only Warmerly's own mailboxes are the targets
La Growth Machine is the better fit if
- You have another placement tool and do not need one in your outreach tool
- You are happy to judge deliverability from bounce, open and reply rates in the campaign
- You already use MXToolbox or a warmup service, as its own help centre suggests
Does La Growth Machine test inbox placement?
We found no placement test on its pricing, features or deliverability pages. It may offer something we did not find.
Is Warmerly's placement test accurate?
Not fully. It has no dedicated Gmail or Outlook seed list yet, so a degraded result is marked as limited accuracy and is not used to pause sending.
How would I check placement if I use La Growth Machine?
Its pages point to MXToolbox for records, to a warmup service for new mailboxes, and to open, click and bounce rates for results. We found no seed test of its own, read 22 October 2026.
Does a 100 per cent open rate mean great placement?
Not according to La Growth Machine's own help article, which calls 100 per cent suspicious because bots and antivirus tools can load the tracking pixel.
Why does a Warmerly result say limited accuracy?
With no dedicated Gmail or Outlook seeds, the test sends into Warmerly's own warmup mailboxes, which accept almost everything. The result is marked, kept out of health and spam scores, and never used to pause sending.
