Choose Resend if you want a simple JSON API and a free plan that has no end date; choose SendGrid if you want a dedicated IP included and separate unsubscribe lists. It has a free plan of 5,000 emails a month, but it is REST only today: no SMTP relay, delivery webhooks or templates yet.
