# How do I cancel or change my plan?

> Change plan in Settings > Billing with Switch to this plan. To cancel, click Cancel plan in Settings > Billing. You can pause instead. Your data is kept.

Everything is in **Settings > Billing**. To move to another paid plan, click **Switch to this plan** on the plan you want; the change takes effect immediately. To cancel, click **Cancel plan**. Nothing in your account is deleted when you cancel or downgrade.

Plan changes are always yours to make. Support and Warmi can explain your options but cannot change or cancel a plan for you.

## Change your plan

1. Open **Settings > Billing** in [app.warmerly.com](https://app.warmerly.com/login).
2. Under **Choose your plan**, find the plan you want. **Compare all tiers** shows every limit side by side.
3. Click **Switch to this plan**. Upgrades and downgrades between Starter, Growth and Agency work the same way. Prices are on [warmerly.com/pricing](https://warmerly.com/pricing) and allowances are in [Plans and limits](https://warmerly.com/docs/plans-and-limits).
4. You will see "Plan updated. Changes take effect immediately."

On the Free plan with no subscription yet, the button reads **Start 7-day trial** instead. A card is needed, and nothing is charged until day 8.

Want to pay yearly? If you already pay monthly, the **Switch to annual** card on **Settings > Billing** moves you to annual billing on your current plan, and shows what you would save. It is not shown once you are already on annual. Annual prices are on [warmerly.com/pricing](https://warmerly.com/pricing). Your currency follows your region, and the region picker is on the pricing page.

## Cancel your subscription

1. Open **Settings > Billing** and click **Cancel plan**.
2. Pick the main reason and write a sentence or two about it (at least 30 characters). We read every answer.
3. Depending on the reason, you may be offered a discount, a pause, a smaller plan or help from the team. Each screen has **No thanks, continue to cancel**.
4. If you have hosted OneMail mailboxes, choose whether to keep them on their own subscription or close them (see below).
5. Check the summary and click **Cancel my plan**.

Changed your mind before the period ends? **Keep my plan** on **Settings > Billing** takes the cancellation back. The written answer in the cancel window is optional: you can skip it and still see your options.

**On a paid plan**, you keep everything you paid for until the end of the current billing period. After that, the workspace moves to the **Free** plan. It is not closed, and your mailboxes, campaigns, leads and inbox are all kept.

**During a free trial**, cancelling ends the trial straight away rather than at its end date, and you are not charged. Warmerly stops sending, but nothing is deleted, so you can pick a plan again whenever you want.

The **Manage billing** portal is where you update your card and download invoices.

## Pause instead of cancelling

For some cancel reasons, the cancel screens offer to pause a monthly plan for 1, 2 or 3 months (not during a trial). A discount or a pause can be taken once a year. The pause starts when the period you have paid for ends. While paused you are not charged and nothing sends: warmup, campaigns and LinkedIn all stop, and your data stays as it is. Billing and sending restart by themselves when the pause ends. To resume early, open the app and click **Resume my plan now**; a new billing period starts that day. If you cancel while the pause is running, the plan ends at once, because the paused period was not charged.

## Hosted OneMail mailboxes when you cancel

OneMail mailboxes are billed on your plan, so cancelling asks what should happen to them:

- **Keep them:** they move to a OneMail subscription of their own on the same card, at the per-mailbox price for workspaces on Free, and keep working.
- **Close them:** they work until your plan ends, are then suspended, and are deleted 30 days later. To keep a copy of the mail, open **Accounts**, then **Download mail (.mbox)** in the mailbox's menu, before the plan ends. Thunderbird and Apple Mail can import the file. Taking a plan again within those 30 days lets you restore them.

A domain we registered for you is yours. If you close your mailboxes we stop renewing it, and it lapses at the end of the term already paid. To move it elsewhere, open the mailbox, go to **Settings > Your mail and domain** and click **Request a transfer code**. The code shows there and arrives by email once the domain is unlocked (registrars block transfers in the first 60 days after registration). For a domain you brought yourself, remove the MX, SPF and DKIM records that point to Warmerly, or mail to those addresses will bounce. If your domain's nameservers point to Warmerly, we keep answering its DNS after you close so your website and other records keep working; point the nameservers back to your own DNS provider when you can. **Download DNS records** on the same settings page gives you every record as a zone file most DNS providers can import.

## What happens if I am over the new plan's limits?

- **Downgrading to a smaller paid plan:** you get a grace period, shown as a countdown banner, to come back inside the new limits. Everything keeps running during it.
- **Moving to Free** (after cancelling): Free allows 1 mailbox and 1 active campaign. If you have more, campaign sending and warmup pause straight away until you are back inside Free's limits or pick a paid plan again. Nothing is removed.

To get back inside a limit, disconnect mailboxes you no longer use or pause and archive campaigns. The full rules are in [Plans and limits](https://warmerly.com/docs/plans-and-limits#what-happens-when-you-hit-a-limit).

## Common problems

**"Cancel to move to Free".** You cannot pick Free directly while a paid subscription is running. Use **Settings > Billing > Cancel plan**; the workspace moves to Free when the paid period ends.

**Sending stopped after I cancelled.** You are probably over Free's limits. Remove extra mailboxes or pause campaigns, or choose a paid plan again.
